City palace Hotel

My sister and I booked 2 rooms for last Monday 10th of August, 2019. The receptionist who checked us in was very nice and granted us a late check out at 13:00 hrs as we arrived late at 19:30 hrs. We were surprised as he gave us 1 corner room, what a perfect room! I worked as a City palace Hotelier before, not so sure if this room was an upgrade (if so the receptionist should have informed us at the time of check-in if this was an upgrade) or other types of standard located in the corner. At the time of check out, I called the reception around 11:15 am to ask how to make a call to other room. She then asked what time we'll check out as per her, she needs the room as early as possible. I informed her that the receptionist who checked us in granted us a late check out at 13:00 hrs as we arrived a little late at 19:30 hrs (as a City palace Hotelier before, we consider that as a late check-in) so I informed her. She said she will check first and put me on hold, I was surprised when she insisted that it was not a late check-in and she still needs the room as early as possible! 12-12:30 pm! Seriously? That's how you treat guest even someone already permitted a late check out only for an hour? When I asked for her name, she said "MAHESHA" if I'm not mistaken. After I asked for her name, that was the time that she only said, "It's fine ma'am, you can check out at 13:00hrs". During check out, while we were sitting and waiting for her, she asked for our ID's with a frown on her face. My sister said how can we give our ID's when they took and hold all our IDs upon check-in, it was obvious that we went out from the lift, by that time, she knows that we are checking-out. Of course, our IDs were with them already! It was a great stay for all of us at first but this lady receptionist ruined our almost perfect stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at city palace City palace Hotel, and my experience was a mix of highs and lows that left me with conflicting feelings about the overall quality of the establishment. On the positive side, the front office manager deserves commendation for the excellent service provided during our stay. Their attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile were truly commendable. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of hospitality demonstrated, making check-in and other formalities seamless and enjoyable. Unfortunately, my positive impressions took a nosedive when it came to the housekeeping department. Our room was infested with ants, which not only disrupted our sleep but also resulted in numerous bites on my son's legs. The lack of attention to detail in maintaining a pest-free environment was disappointing and concerning, especially for a City palace Hotel that prides itself on offering a comfortable stay. Moreover, despite repeated requests, the housekeeping staff failed to provide an iron board for over two days. This lack of responsiveness to basic guest needs was frustrating and reflected poorly on the overall service efficiency of the City palace Hotel. The washroom, where water leakage on the floor was a persistent problem. This not only posed a safety hazard but also added to the overall discomfort of our stay. I strongly recommend that the City palace Hotel invests in bathroom slippers to enhance the safety and well-being of its guests.

I stayed in City palace Hotel for four night. The lady receptionist was very bad and very rude, we check in late around 4 PM still room was not available. When we entered the City palace Hotel in that hot weather and ask for water for my child to drink they said no water you have to buy from restaurant that was too weird. It's a basic manner to welcome d guest that was absent that was really disappointed. More over no locker is working and no complimentary water for day. First respect your guest and welcome them hearty that kind gesture as a guest we expect.

In the beginning I would like to thank make my make my trip comfortable no need to go anywhere everything done perfectly. And yes the City palace Hotel in which I stayed was beyond the expectation.and there staff are good and very soft talkative with respectful smile which is good for the guest to recieve from where they stay I would suggest people should book the city palace because it is placed at very awesome place where you can get you metro busses and specially meena bazar where people would like to go and shopping allot Thanks again

The service at the City palace Hotel was good. Room was also ok. Only drawback was at breakfast at 9.45 am they were telling us that only 15 minutes are left sir. Breakfast was till 10 am. That was very weird of them. They should not hurry up people for finishing their breakfast. It seemed disrespect full. Other City palace Hotels did not do this thing.

Stayed at this City palace Hotel for 1 week and the stay was very pleasant. Housekeeping staff was very polite and cleaned the room very nicely. Frontend team arijin & sneha both were very helpful. Food is also upto the mark and good.

Nicely located City palace Hotel, almost everything is at a stones throw away.
Good carpet and clean room with nicely placed lightings however, curtains on window were unable to switch light which was little disappointing.

It was allover a splendid stay. Staff were too friendly and helpful. They responded every time we call for. Hotel was clean. Supplimentary things were provided in right time. Location was good. Food was delicious.

Hotel is centrally located with warm reception staff very friendly bell desk too. House keeping 5 th floor hussain an amazing person and very helpful overall i recommend this City palace Hotel to everyone

There are 2 Panorama City palace Hotels is travelers have to describe very well to the taxi person. One City palace Hotel is Panorama and the other is Panorama Grand. Both are in Bur Dubai.

Key location, everything is accessible, nothing to worry in terms of transportation, City palace Hotel in fact arrange the airport drop facilities. Overall good rating 4 out of 5.

Hotel situated in a good location and here’s you can get good ambience also. It’s very close to the meena bazar. Here you can get delicious indian food. Staff is very courteous.

It was nice and comfortable, the service was good. Looking forward to visit here again.

I stayed for business metro and bus station are near by.

It was an ok ok experience. Good to stay for a day. It feels like the rooms and washroom were old. They provide parking at 30dhs for a day.
