Great host and beautiful, clean apartment. Very happy. The only issue: my visit coincided with a hot spell. Air condition was working well, but there didn’t appear to be a way to regulate cooling downstairs (where I was) independently of upstairs. Some may enjoy the break from the heat, but I found it a bit cold for my liking. Yes, i would recommend this place and book here again, but maybe bring an extra sweater.

Our stay was not quite as I expected. The unit is fine and I’m sure the hosts are great people. We had issues with the tenet living above accusing us of smoking in the apartment. We were called twice by Expedia for this reason and threatened with fees because of it. There was no smoking on the property. After that we didn’t feel welcome or wanted in the space. Another thing is the basement is a lock off with flimsy doors so you can hear everything going on upstairs. They have a lot of fees for things like unplugging anything that’s plugged in, which I understand but it adds to the “walking on eggshells” feeling you get in the space.

Well appointed comfortable basement apartment. Super nice sheets and comforter. Only four stars due to no egress window and no coffee pot.

VERY Great property and only minor issues which the host was rapid in responding to. Communication was done through my email which was not ideal for me, but was effective.

First view of the property looked promising BUT discovered the living room carpet was damp, in fact water appeared to be coming up from the concrete below the carpet. I messaged the contact and received a reply that they”might send the housekeeper” to check it out. I sent a return message saying I thought it was pretty serious and maybe a different professional than a housekeeper may need to address it. Reply was “have a good night “ After an uncomfortable night unable to use the living area or tv,I messaged again that we were checking out due to”health and safety concerns “ and requested a refund for the second night which we had payed for but we’re not using. The reply was a denial and that “we had denied the housekeeper access “. I replied that we had not and no one had come by. Suddenly I realized I had been attempting to communicate with AI. Which explains why I was getting inappropriate and nonsensical replies. Ruined our Seattle trip, had to come home early and now must battle Hotels.com and others (AI also I suppose) Good luck if you choose to stay there. My over 40 years in construction tells me “Vince” and housekeeper will not be repairing water damage, concrete work, mold mitigation and more real quick
