Had a great stay. Staff were very accomodating. Our daughter loved the playground facilities.
The property was very clean and updated, we loved the location. I had my morning walk around Shaws Bay. There is an awesome playground near by. The only thing that was disappointing was the jumping pillow that had a rip and wasnt up. My kids were really looking forward to that one. Other than that, would definitely stay again!

Staff greating was cold , great out look & clean ,lovely walks . Could only watch 5 channels on tv & aircon was was over bed couldn't have it on as the air just blew down on you so it became very cold .
only downside was that the Fridge smelt like bait, every time we opened it the smell filled the cabin
Everything was as expected from past stays. The fob that used to open boom gates has now been replaced by a code and keypad.
I was there for just 2 nights, Great place specially for kids

Always at great stay at this park . Staff are helpful and friendly. Park has great energy and affordable , nice accomodation. Nothing bad to say. Will definately stay again

We really enjoyed our stay at Discovery Parks Ballina. We had the 2 bedroom waterfront view cabin. 85
It is a very comfortable cabin. It was very clean, beds are comfortable & the shower is roomy & with great hot water pressure
The verandah is a great place to enjoy the winter sunshine, enjoying a cuppa or cool drink.
For the Management, the screen door could do with some maintence, its very hard to close
We booked a superior 2 bedroom chalet off the internet which had walk in shower and modern updated kitchen with bunk beds and double bed in other room. We received an outdated cabin which was pet friendly (not required or asked for) and which had a shower over a huge spa bath with high wall to climb into. Not good for a 74 year old with arthritis in knees. Asked for what we booked to be told nothing available and next day received a slip mat to put in shower. Next issue was shower head which fell off so unable to have shower for that night. 4 phone calls before someone contacted us back on our issue. The caravan park itself was nice but very dark at night and we arrived at 11pm and had to drive around a couple of times till we found our cabin tucked in between caravan and other cabins.
It was such a nice place to stay, great facilities
