Shopping centers all around. Much better than other hotels nearby. A bit far from downtown but well located nevertheless. Very clean.
They were very thoughtful with our needs when it came to our dogs! I only come to the alt because of how nice and dog friendly they are! Always a nice visit!

Overall, pretty good hotel. One of the good things is the free parking, which is harder to find in Quebec. While it’s not the most picturesque neighborhood it is pretty convenient. There are two city bus stops very close to the hotel. There are also a good amount restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself is nice and clean. The staff is very friendly. And while the hotel is surrounded by busy streets, it was very quiet inside. There is a shopping mall across the street. So if you forgot to bring anything, you could probably buy it there.

fatma.partnerAug 08, 2024 Room was the perfect size for our short stay. Everything was clean. Staff were friendly. I appreciated on-site parking which was included in the price. The outdoor parking lot was full however the staff at reception let us know that we could use underground parking
Honestly it was a perfect place to stay, would definitely one back again.
Only small complaint would be the parking area was very small , and the bed a tad too soft , but these were minor issues .
Overall the staff was excellent, room was clean and location was perfect!!

carol a.partnerJul 30, 2024 Very quiet hotel in a nice area. Staff were excellent and fully bilingual. Hotel is next door to a large mall. About a 15 minute bus ride to Old Quebec. Bus stop is practically outside the door and hotel even provided free bus tickets for 3 days. Only complaint would be that the bathroom was tiny (we had a king room) and the shower door wasn’t designed to keep the water in. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had room service which was delicious and fast.
My comment about the area around the hotel being dirty really is beyond their control. There are empty lots behind the hotel parking lot and shabby houses which will probably eventually be torn down across the street. Most people would not see them but because I had a dog to walk and needed to find some « green » we ended up having to walk around this area. As they are dog friendly maybe if they had a grassy area for hotel guests to take their dogs it would be nicer.
I would still go back to stay at the Alt!
