The building is adjacent to a large park and there is a fitness room close by ( no charge). Staff are very friendly and helpful. For our purposes this is a good and relaxing alternative to the extremely crowded city centre.
Friendly and efficient staff in lobby. Spacious room overlooking the hotel‘s park. Nice location with ample restaurants and some shops close-by. Green space in the immediate vicinity makes this more relaxing than the overcrowded city centre. 10 minute underground train ride to centre and railway station.

Apparently it is ok to have a 4 start hotel in Munich without have air conditioning in the room. This was a surprise, the only good thing is that I was staying for two nights and the weather was reasonable cool. For the price I have payed It was not worth it at all. I would not even pay a cheaper price if offered. The hotel location is remote and nothing is close within a walking distance. Expedia should make it clear in the description that there is no air conditioning in the room. This will avoid mishap for customers and avoid having them mislead. It was an ordeal for me. Would definitely not recommend if you are a light sleeper !
The manager of the hotel was really something, completely ignorant of a customer concerns.I would have cancelled my reservation if it was refundable which was not an option when I booked through Expedia. Truly a disappointing experience
The staff is very friendly. The hotel garden is perfect to relax. The food, breakfast and diner, was very nice.
mairi.partnerJun 17, 2024 The hotel is full of character and has a lovely feel. The staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Our balcony in the pavilion was a real bonus. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the hotel and would definitely stay there again.
The hotel was clean, quiet, the rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
scott.partnerAug 21, 2022 Very comfortable room (with balcony) overlooking a lovely park. We didn't eat at the hotel for dinner or breakfast (as were in Munich to visit with friends at theirs), but the facilities looked nice for food. There was on-street parking for free that was always available for us over our two-day stay, and there was a (not-free) garage in the hotel as well that we didn't use.
Only negative? Clearly there were smokers in the room beneath us who smoked on their balcony, which came up to our floor and meant we had to close our windows and couldn't use the balcony whilst they smoked. Probably unavoidable unless the hotel prohibits smoking on balconies.

Spectacular stay. Wonderful service. Excellent room. Cleaned to perfection every day. Beautiful area - stunning nature park out the back door. You miss out by not going here. Oops - just blew a great secret. Worth every penny.
We have been staying at the Parkhotel for a number of years and find it an ideal base for staying in Munich. Our room was nice and spacious and the breakfast is always exceptional.
alicia.partnerNov 30, 2019 They had the best breakfast we have ever had in Europe ( we travel3x/ yr!) super attentive staff and just a wonderful experience all around! Our balcony was huge and overlooked a nice park area. Parking was simple- someone had said previously that is was tight- but we had an SUV and had no problems. ( not cheap- at 19 euro/ night- but safe and convenient- elevator straight to floor. Room was beautiful and very spacious!

jorge.partnerSep 25, 2019 We were positively surprised for the hotel´s staff, since our check-in until the mnute we checked-out, they were courteous, warm, helpful and very accommodating, the best of this hotel is its human component. But it is worth to mention the traditional oktobert fest ginger cookie was left in our room, it was a nice touch
Great hotel for attending an expo in Munich. Accessible. Have parking on premise. Rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet is top. Price is reasonable during expo time. Staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed here twice during two different expos and was very please with it.
Our second stay and our visit was just as good as last time. Despite arriving at mid-day, well in advance of the usual 3pm check-in time, we were given an upgraded room and were made to feel most welcome. Breakfasts are excellent and were appreciated by both ourselves and our daughter and partner who live locally in Munich. Becoming dab hands with the integrated Munich transport system - a bus stopping just outside the hotel.
