jennifer.partnerNov 18, 2024 Found the room very big had so much room, and very clean . Staff were great. Walking distance to main centre about 20 minutes. Taxi ride to airport cost about £25. Definitely would stay here again .
marie.partnerOct 29, 2024 This was a wonderful place for us! Very clean and well appointed room. The property was beautiful and our host very kind and helpful. His suggestions for restaurants and activities were great! It’s a little bit away from the central tourist area near the Duomo (30 minute walk and roughly 20 minutes on bus…. You can walk more directly than the bus route). But there’s a nice local market, a supermarket, good restaurants and stadium in close walking distance. Take in a soccer game! The only downside is it’s on a busy road and our room faced that, so we needed earplugs to sleep. The rooms facing the courtyard garden are probably much quieter. All in all a pleasant stay.
Overall it was a good stay. The air conditioning did not work at all though, which led us to open windows which then led to dozens of mosquitos on the room because the windows do not have screens. Besides that the stay was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean.

Our room was fantastic! It was large enough for each of us to unpack easily, and the bathroom was the largest we had during our 10 day trip. The shower was generously sized. Window had a nice view of the interior courtyard, and it was very quiet.
I gave this a 4 and not a 5 because it is quite far from the touristy areas of Florence. If you don't mind that, then stay here!
denys.friendsSep 17, 2024 Rooms were a great size. Shower so small constantly bumping yourself. A step to enter & descend from bathroom. No one at reception after 2:00.p.m. Say to communicate on whats up but no one responds.
Great location, comfortable room and all you need in the heart of Venice.

elizabeth.familyAug 04, 2024 This is a lovely old home with a beautiful foyer and back garden. The "front desk" is only monitored in the morning so guests are pretty much on their own. The room was spacious. The windows are incredibly sound proof and I know this because we slept with the windows open our first night (not realizing we had air conditioning in the room) and the traffic noise was roaring in the morning. When I got up and shut the windows, it was remarkable the quiet!
It was a bit of a walk to the Duomo and other historic spots but not too bad. We were in Florence in 35 degree heat - if the spring and fall, those walks would have been much more enjoyable.
This felt like a residential neighborhood which we enjoyed but not too much action in the immediate area.
All in all a lovely place to stay.
ps - we had a car and were able to park in a safe lot around the corner from the hotel for 15 euros/night.
Great place. Great comms and the room was really large. A well stocked mini bar and coffee in reception area was great.
Loved having a good supermarket close by and lots of local coffee shops and eating places.

The property is well located and is accessible by the water taxis and you can walk everywhere. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about Venice. Would return in the future and spend more time.
