Clean and beautiful hotel
Hotel is clean with beautiful landscape. Reception staff was patience despite the language barrier. They managed to help our friends change to a non smoking floor as the floor they were originally assigned smell of smoke from guests smoking from ground floor. The buffet dinner was great, with free flow of beer, soju and wine. Desserts was excellent. Onsen was great too though the bath house looks a bit run down. But it was clean. Lots of parking space for those who drive. The only downside is that it is hard to find restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Hotel a bit old but well kept . No dining choices within the area and hotel only has 1 dining restaurant which require prior reservation for buffet style dining
3 star hotel...tried but true...nothing too fancy, but more than good enough. Fantastic view. Located on a golf course. Cheaper than kurokawa. Onsen is pretty good.
It was not located in the centre of Aso. It would be better to drive and stay in this hotel.
The check-in procedure was clear and quick. We chose the room with two beds, which was very clean and comfortable.
It also had the hot spring, which opened in the morning and evening. I had a relaxing time while enjoying the hot spring.
If you don't mind driving to this hotel, it would be a great choice for those to travel to Aso.

Unfriendly check in staff. Old fixtures in rooms but nice public onsen baths.
The hotel is dated. Breakfast is good with a vast selection of food. The water of the onsen is a Colder compared to normal onsen.

verified t.familyDec 19, 2019 This is a golf resort, a good location to have peace and quiet. Hotel is quite old and no one assisted to show us to the room. Room that is crater-facing has very nice scenic view. No nearby shops, hotel is only accessible by car.
The hotel is quite far from City but it is okay for driving. The hotel and rooms are big. Yet, its facilities are aged. It provides hot spring but we have not utilized it. In addition, it seems full of tour groups. On the other hand, I have made a reservation for 2 single bed room by Expedia mobile app. Unlike Expedia website, the default booking is for 1 adult only. The hotel would like to charge me an additional fee even it is a 2 single bed booking already. It is quite strange to me.
The attitude of front desk staff were unfriendly. Back face to customers.

Buffet breakfast were offered for free and of high quality. Room is just standard twin size, which is relatively small when compare to other onsen resort.
