Staff and customer service, Breakfast was really great setup and variety at the restaurant in hotel. Judt the room not as spacious as I hpped.
Hard bed but everything else is 10/10
Only con is that the bed is very, very hard. I'm used to firm mattresses in Japan but this felt like there was no mattress at all.
However, the location is excellent, the restaurant is great, the staff are very friendly (and some speak English), and everything is clean and quiet despite being right next to the station. I barely heard any train or traffic noise. Would definitely stay here again.
Very close to the train station. A nice quiet area with a short walk into the downtown area. The rooms were pleasant, clean and quiet.

stay a twin room for 1 night. the bed is a super single bed. next to a jr station. can hear a bit of the train passing sound but not very loud. breakfast was nice but limited items. the hotel has an onsen at the top floor to be used for free though i never try it. free parking available and there are many parking lots.
Good location with simple amenities
Hotel is centrally located near the train station.
Aircon not working so got to open window but ended up sleep disturbed by train noise as the railway track is nearby.
It was a really lovely hotel. Room was rather big and comfortable. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was also good. The public bath was especially clean and nice. Car park facilities were also in place. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
A small hotel with a convenient location
Its a clean and quiet hotel with everything I need, very convenient location with train station in sight.
Nine days in Muroran 2015
Everything was nice. No issues though staff had minimal English language ability.
I would prefer another hotel if I hv choices.
The price was fair. Our room was a twin bed room, the room size was better than the semi-double room but still it was small in size as usual. The bed was not comfort, low supporting at all and we felt very itchy.
Just a basic business hotel.
It is a good basic business hotel. The neighborhood isn't the most interesting place, however. There is one convience store and a few restuarants, but being close to the station and bus stop is convient for going to other places. Also the drinking district isn't too far away to walk to.
Hoel with good facilities and clean
Nice and quiet place to stay with full breakfast in the hotel, very near the station.
We were treated kindly and had an overall great experience. The hotel is walking distance from the train station and taxi stands. Awesome to be in Muroran again, the Ramen shop by the train station was devine.
Convenient and comfortable
Just stayed there for one night. The 1F restaurant served good food and the public bath on the top floor is clean and has good views.
We have enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Free breakfast is provided with wonderful spread. The hotel has onsen and even free parking.
Good Hotel next to JR Station.
Good experience staying in the hotel. There was a Taiwan staff member, Ms Zhang, who could speak Mandarin and Japanese. As we could not speak Japanese, we needed her help to negotiate for a rental car.. She was most helpful.
Clean Room - good for a night
I have stayed in Route Inn during my recent Hokkaido trip. All their hotels are near railway stations which are great for travellers going by rail or road. However it is quite noisy for this particular location. Not so great for this location otherwise it's great for a clean room.
