The hospitality of hotel was good. I was with my wife and booked hotel maya for 2 nights. It is in the heart of kl city and walkable distance from patrons twin towers, surya klcc etc. Also, 13km from bat u caves. The breakfast is good but option is less. I would surely recommend a stay in hotel maya kl for those who is expecting to visit malaysia.

Disappointing stay - poor service and badly designed rooms

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at hotel maya. From the moment i arrived, the staff’s attitude left much to be desired. One of the receptionists was incredibly rude and unhelpful, even giving me wrong information that caused a lot of confusion. It’s frustrating when staff don’t seem to care about guests’ needs. The room itself was average at best, but the design was terrible. It felt like no thought was given to functionality, and it was uncomfortable to spend time there. Considering the price and the reputation of the hotel, i expected much better. Overall, i wouldn’t recommend hotel maya. The poor service, unwelcoming atmosphere, and poorly designed rooms left me regretting my choice. Look elsewhere if you want a pleasant stay in kl.
Pathetic hotel, i am still wondering how they give a 5 star rating to the hotel. Smelly room, dirty linen, washroom was stinky and smelly. Avoid it.

One of the worst 5 star i would say. This service is not suitable for 5 stars. Their deluxe rooms are very small, full of seepage and damping smell. Wooden floor is very sticky. Furniture is broken. Just not adequate to stay in klcc. On telling them our concerns, they upgraded our room to heritage category. But it didn’t have bathtub which was our prerequisite. We asked them to give us a room with bathtub they said it would charge extra per night. That was really bad in terms of hospitality. Breakfast was ok.

Excellent stay good view delux room

We stayed 2 nights at this place the rooms are spacious, excellent city view super breakfast spread, the hydra pool is the best, located at the foot of the twin towers and salome link bridge. Very helpful staff, gave us an early check-in and late departure without any cost.

However my experience was quite different. I had a wonderful stay. The room was well spacious. Washroom was good i'm the best part was the location of the hotel it's like four minutes walk to petrona towers and klcc. 20 minutes walk to bukit bintang. 15 minutes drive to batu cave. The hotel was literally in the heart of this city. The best part was the breakfast buffet. It had a white spread of continental malaysian singaporean and indian food. Staff here are also very warm and friendly. Overall a nice experience. In case if you have any special requests do not shy away asking assistance from any staff

The property location was awesome, in the vicinity of kl twin towers and had all amenities nearby. The quality of rooms, hospitality and food was great allowed late check out to help us. The overall experience has been rather good in all aspects
