Location was exactly on bar u feriingi beach. Very close to entopia and escape parks. The hotel ammenities was extremely good. The breakfast however was average. Shangrila is a global chain yet their breakfast was not oriental rather everything was local cuisine. This is an issue when you have a lot of tourist influx.

Excellent stay. The hotel is perfectly located on the beach front with a direct access to the beach. The property is huge with sprawling swimming pools ideal for perople of different ages the food quality is awesome with indian food available in the breakfast option. Also, starbucks to start within ths premise very soon. The service is prompt and polite. A great sfay with the best hotel in penang

An excellent hotel in a good location. Good service and sea food experience was great. Rooms are big and comfortable. Range of pools was a splendid set up. Though a bit far from attractions and airports but well connected by taxi and buses.

Excellent location, the property has 3 different swimming pools for various age groups. We had stayed on tuesday, so the buffet dinner was unavailable. Overall a pleasant stay at shangri-la.

Everything was good except the check in experience, the hotel initially couldn’t find the booking, took an hour to resolve it, the staff could be more courteous and welcoming

The pool at the resort is very good. The resort has direct connectivity to the beach. Facilities are slightly old. However, the food options provided were very good.

Wow really best resort in Penang Great for kids as the resort swimming pool is not just the pool it's a water park in itself Having slides 3 duffest pools, bucket full of water falling on you and more. If you are with kids then only stay at this resort. Also location is best as night market is just outside the hotel. Also whatever you need on a trip like restaurant, massage, 7/11. All are located just outside the resort. Overall best resort ever visited.

View from rooms are amazing

I can't believe the reason was such a well organized and well equipped resort it had everything, yoniko the manger was so sweet, she was so honored to serve the customers. I have plans to go back there already next month, the view from the rooms are amazing and there is so much to do in the resort it self no one would get bored.

5 nights stay at golden sands Penang

The location is very good and the hotel property is also very nice. The problem is with the staff and cleanliness. The rooms are not clean the bedsheets are all stained and the washbasins are choked. The service is very slow and not up to mark of a 4 star hotel.
