    Poor service & extremely unprofessional!

    Location - excellent food - na service - bad differential behavior (borderline racist, absolutely terrible service. We had booked 2 rooms reading the reviews here, mailed requesting connecting rooms last week. At the time of check-in we were told that request was not received (the front staff blamed the manager, waited till 4:30 to get our 2 non-connecting rooms, only to realize they had completely forgotten about us! on questioning why we were kept waiting, the front staff was rude and literally swore at me and said there was nothing she could do and our rooms would not even be together (front staff blamed the housekeeping staff this time) - "i'm giving you the 2nd room now, sorry they are not together" their behavior went from belligerent & rude to apologetic only when i mentioned writing a review ) if you have to stay here (the location is great - and the reason we booked it) - lower your expectations!

    Artotel Amsterdam

    We went there for a week and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is quite centrally located, staff is very friendly. The best was the hotel restaurant, the chefs are nice and make you feel at home. They are happy to make something for you even if it is not on the menu! Overall we had an excellent and pleasant stay at Arto'tel at Amsterdam
