Lovely hotel in the Chiado neighborhood. The hotel is an old palace so the rooms are the perfect mixture of historic charm with modern amenities. The hotel staff was super helpful and welcoming, they even booked our restaurant reservations each night! You also can’t beat the breakfast and the VIEW!

Goregous old building with an interesting history. The room was enormous even by American standards. Breakfast is prepared fresh and delivered to your room daily. Special thanks to Maria at reception who was beyond kind, informative, and attentive. Her level of service really elevated the stay from great to fantastic.

Very satisfied with Palace Chiado. Only complaint is street noise (e.g., garbage collection) very late in the night.

Fabulous boutique hotel in a lovely central part of Lisbon close to everything. Staff welcoming and helpful, superb breakfast, comfortable beds, huge bedroom and bathroom. Lovely decor, it feels like you’re staying somewhere far more expensive and palacial. The only negatives are noise. We were on the street side of the hotel and it was very noisy late into the night, first revellers then bin collections. By night 2 we had resorted to ear plugs to be able to sleep. The water system also creates quite a lot of noise whenever water is run or a toilet flushed. We loved our stay here but, if noise is a concern, it might not be the perfect choice for everyone.

Unique hotel. Beautiful rooms. Breakfast brought to each room. Staff very helpful and understanding of tired travelers. Guests must be able to climb stairs.

This hotel is a converted 1846 residence. It still contains many fine details of the era like fine plaster ceilings, yet still feels comfortably modern. The staff is very attentive to guest needs. The breakfast is most outstanding. The location is very convenient to the areas where we needed to go. I highly recommend it.

Great experience. Large tasty breakfast. Friendly reception staff who assisted my husband and I by taking our luggage up to our room and suggesting lovely restaurants to eat at.

Beautiful old building with magnificent rooms and views. No lift and stairs are quite steep to manage. Breakfast served in room. Mix of food would not suit everyone. Overall a lovely experience though.
Lovely trip

Really lovely place - the only negative would be the noise from the street which was pretty loud (we had suite 3) but the staff were lovely and the room was very comfortable and HUGE! Nice central location perfect for exploring Lisbon.
Great character, excellent staff

The property is beautiful, but not easily accessible, with steep stairs to access the rooms. The rooms themselves are beautiful, well decorated, comfortable and roomy with excellent facilities. The property is located in a busy area and does not have double glazing so, if your room is on the front, as ours was wear ear plugs - they are provided. There is a North African influence here, and that shows in the breakfast, which is served in your room each day. The best thing of all are the staff, who are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Lovely room with a fantastic view over the Baixa and the loudest thing was the birds in the trees. 3 minutes walk to Metro and lots of dining choses just down the street. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend it if you want to stay in downtown Lisbon. It is a very nice location and walkable everywhere - subway, sightseeing, and all nice restaurants. The staff is super nice and makes us feel welcome. We would recommend it.
