In the family room was used hard materials to furnish the apartment,- floor was very hard, makes lots of noise, doors to the toilet was very very loud, tiles in the toilet very cold, lights were too bright in the toilet and main room was too dark, so lack of balance in all important areas.
during the night kids and parents were walking to the toilet, so they were disturbing those who were sleeping. Bed linnen was very comfortable, soft, especially pillows. What is more, we got a little bit sick after the sandwich with shrimps that most of us had in the restaurant of this hotel. Drinks were good though.
The hotel is in the center of the city, so in the evening and quite often during the night and morning we could hear motorolers/motorbikes driving accross the streets. Stores and pharmacy is close to the hotel. Hotel clients are allowed to park their cars in the Coop's parking, so that is a great benefit in this area.
Overal experience - not good, next time we will definitely choose something else, where rooms would be more quiet.
Late arrival but I had time to check the restaurant, very nice environment and interior. Rooms decent but not ok to my expectations.
Vimmerby, Best western Stadshotel
I like staying at Best western vimmerby, which I usually do this time of year, because of the comfort.
I can look forward to a comfortable rest, on a very comfortable bed, after a hard day at work.
This hotel feels so comfortable, as if I was at home.
I got to know a few of the staff, because I stay with them every year for the past three to four years.
The breakfast is fantastic, it feels as if I made it, because they breakfast is done in such a homely way.
I could actually live in this hotel, and that’s not something I’ve ever said about any hotel.
It just feels like home! That’s the simplistic way I can summarize it.
Vimmerby has lots of history. It is home of the famous, Pipi Långstrop.
Friendly, but small rooms, good breakfast but not enough staff, overcrowded even very early in the morning.
Nice with a touch of luxury
Had a very nice stay and was pleasantly surprised by interior decoration. Had stayed a few years ago and was not impressed. They have certainly worked on the interior design since and it feels a lot more luxurious than it used to. The rooms are nice and clean, but could also do with a touch of luxury to make it feel special. The restaurant was really nice and the food really well cooked. Staff very nice and polite. Will book again when in area.

Bra hotell men lite för dyrt utifrån dess skick
Dyrt hotell i förhållande till storlek och skick. Man utnyttjar såklart att många bor där som ska till Astrid Lindgrens Värld. Trevlig restaurang med en fantastisk barnbuffé som man betalar en summa per år som barnet är.
Bra standard med fina och fräscha rum. Utbudet på frukosten var bra och effektiv personal som var snabba med påfyllnad med mera.
