Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok

A very centrally located property, only a couple of minutes walk from the Nana BTS metro station. We arrived at 10:30am, much earlier than their check-in time of 2:00pm and had a city tour scheduled at noon by our tour operator. The Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok staff completed the check-in facilities in time for us to join our tour and took care of the luggage till we returned and moved into our room. Advantages of booking a 5 star Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok I guess, but still a brownie point to their credit. They very politely suggested paying a deposit of THB 1000/- per night for the mini-bar items, which I refused. In return, they suggested that they empty out the mini bar before allotting the room, which they agreed to after I stood my ground of not paying the deposit. I must thank fellow travelers on Trip Advisor for this suggestion. This deposit seems to be a common practice in Thailand though. We had a 9th floor corner room, with a good view of the Bangkok skyline. The room was very spacious with ample storage space and tastefully done interiors. One little point was the towels and bathrobes. Although clean and fresh, they did seem to be a bit used. The pool towels however were much better. Coming to the pool, it was decent for a quick dip, with Jacuzzi and sunken bar and plenty of recliners to laze around. The water was very cold though. The buffet breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of meat, bread, fruit and other items. It mainly had Continental and Eastern fare, including Indian food like dosa, sambar, paratha. We had an early check-out at 4:30 am and I had informed the front desk of the same the night before. They were very prompt in completing the formalities even at that odd hour. However, there was only a single bell-boy to bring out the luggage for 3-4 guests who also checked out at that time. So, the lady at the front desk came up to the room to help me with my luggage, which I found a bit embarrassing, having a lady pick up bags. Overall a very memorable experience.

Got a very good deal for the king size bedroom suite form makemytrip. Location is great just 5 minutes walk from nana bts (sky train/metro)... Which can help you go most of places in Bangkok. Staff is very friendly. Room is big with two rooms... One having small equipped kitchen and refrigerator and sofa and other having large queen size bed... Enough for two adults and one child or if can try 2 children. Hotel policy allows all children below 12 to be accommodated free on existing beds... However will not get free breakfast. Swimming pool is very good with max depth of 1. 5 m and jets at some places for jacuzzi type atmosphere. Has a spa and massage center in-house. But couldn't get it done there due to tight schedule. Summary excellent stay. Will definitely recommend

Great location, nana bra is a 5 minute walk, the streets bustling with excitement- restaurants, bars spas are walking distance too. Terminal 21 is a 10 minute walk. The staff is very friendly and co operative. The concierge is extremely helpful always ready to assist! Great stay! The food was not too goof at breakfast, especially for vegeterian a. Rooms are spacious and super clean. The rooms are well furnished and have all the modern amenities.

Stayed for 3 nights on a solo trip. Got a welcome drink at the time of check-in. Got upgraded to deluxe suite while i paid for a normal room. Staff is extremely well behaved and friendly. Situated in heart of city in sukhumvit soi 6 area. Lots of bars and places to eat. More items needs to be added to in room service. Overall it was awesome stay will definately stay again. Nice Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok. Good for family stay. All markets are nearby. Taxi facilities are good. Taxi manager has guided for options for family tour. Nice food specially India food as per our choice. I stay there for two night with my family 3 rooms. They have upgraded to bigger one room as same time Chinese group have checked in.

Excellent place of stay! Chose Sukhumvit for travel convenience. The Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok is centrally located, just 1 min walk to BTS and easily accessible to all places within minutes. Clean room, spacious one! Friendly staff. Very helpful. Breakfast was very average for the pay. Only dislike is on the tour desk dept who fooled and compelled to get tickets to safari world sayin ot was cheaper with them! Beware on that!

Super location, lot of food eateries around. Huge rooms, clean and tidy too. MRT just 100 meters away. Value for your money, only issue was the Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok staff when they call for a cab. Should insists on using meter. As couple of times when they called the cab we got off the cab as the driver did not agree to use the metre. Make sure you ask the Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok staff for only metre cab!

Excellent location right near BTS Station. Lots of food options available, Indian food as well as well as other options are available at the Hotel. They have an indian counter, where dosas are made. Very nice and tasty. The room are very spacious and big. I booked the deluxe suite- it has a kitchen area, sitting area with large sofa and tv. Separate bedroom. Overall a very spacious room. Loves my stay over there.

Location of the Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok is superb, near to MRT station. The staff at reception were awesome, greeted us nicely and assigned us room well before their check in time. Room was super spacious and very clean. Breakfast spread was really vast and delicious. Would definitely return to this Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok. Keep up the good work!

This is a 5 star property in Sukhumvit area which is centrally located and is a posh area Bangkok. Hotel rooms are really spacious with attached living room and a kitchenette dining table, great if you want to cook yourself. To be honest it will be difficult to find such high quality 5 star property on a budget. Ps. They serve Indian food also.

We are pure vegetarians and it was such a relief to start our day with all kinds of varieties- from dosa and Poha to puris and Khichadi in that part of the world where even indian restaurants serve barely edible food. The deluxe suite that we stayed was quite spacious and comfortable, and the staff courteous. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Complimentary breakfast was average and taste could be better. Location is in the city centre and ambience is really worth the price we paid. Hospitality of the Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok staff was brilliant. We really enjoyed our stay out here at the GSHB. We chose this place for its location in the city and it worked out really well.

It was a really nice Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok. The staff was good and effective. No complaints, did not try the food. The location was nice, soi 11 was walking distance. The Nana metro station was walking distance so all in all a good Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok. I will recommend it to friends and family.

Clean rooms ... Best location had nice swimming pool .. And amazing spa which is on till 1am in the night. Has nice Baker which has discount after 5pm. With nice stuff sandwiches/ cakes/ pastry. Had book local Tours from the Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok travel desk overall nice experience

Warm staff. Good location with all the facilities. Everything including Indian food available nearby. Do not have to struggle for anything. Was upgraded and given a nice room on top floor by the courteous staff. Nice restaurant and bar. Thank you Grand Sukhumvit.

Location is nice, located in a happening location. But breakfast could have been included with the stay. Pool is small but nice. Room is clean and nicely maintained. Bathroom has got a bathtub which was really cool. WiFi was really good. Overall it is good.

Nice location in heart of city. Good Breakfast for Vegetarian Indians. The Rooms are also very spacious and comfortable for stay. Swimming Pool very clean and clear water. Many Indian Restaurants near by as walking distance

Great location, close to the sky train. Wonderful staff. Sorry, cannot give my opinion about the food cause we never ate in the Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok. Hotel even took care of our luggage even after we checked out.

I have travelled a lot and stayed in hundreds of Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkoks. This is among the best in why preference. Only 200 mtrs from Nana station. Tastefully designed rooms with all modern facilities. Staff are exemplary in hospitality. Next time this will be my only choice for stay in Bangkok.

Food is awesome service is excellent

There are better Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkoks in the area in this price. I reached Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok at 2 pm to check in but was told to wait until 3.30 pm for the room to be ready. Only after I objected resentfully, I was given the room.

Hotel is very well located, also close to the metro service. Hotel staff was good, special mention of great service from dusty

Great stay... Good location we like to visit again this place and book same facility again value for money location is also very nice.. Room are neat and clean.. Water supply 24 hrs and room service was 24 hrs.

If you are with family book jr suit, it's spacious and close to Nana station. Only complaint is no Indian breakfast or veg item only fruits, bread and juice. If you are vegetarian don't add breakfast in your booking.

The staff were helpful. Hotel was at a prime location and close to everything. Rooms were fine. We got upgraded to an upper floor. Everything was great except the food. Food was okay. Nothing special. Food wasn't at par as the Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok services.

We requested a glass of water from the reception but they said we don't serve at the reception. Next morning when I did checkout they were serving water and welcome drinks. They did not serve anything to us.
