    Location is good near to hudson river. Food was good and overall all services were awesome. Room was cleaned and they upgraded my room

    Payment relate issue

    We didn't really have a good experience with this hotel. We had booked this hotel one two months in advance making full payment through make my trip. However on checking out, the attendant at the reception (mr kevind) charged us the stay amount once again along with the deposit charges without intimating & confirming with us if the stay charges were already paid by us or not. Unfortunately the card machine also didn't show the amount. On intimation by the credit card company for the transaction we confronted the receptionist & he checked the details and very calmly gave a response saying yes this is already paid sorry i charged you extra by mistake and since that was a sun-day he couldn't help as the accounts department folks were on leave, although this was wrong on his part. It's been 15+ days & we are still waiting for reversal of the transaction as was confirmed by the accounts department 2 days later after we checked out. This is not the kind of casual service & approach a tourist would expect after paying such hefty booking charges for such a renowned hotel. Completely dissatisfied.
