Clarion at Muskegon is in critical condition and requires total remodeling. Check in process was ok and done properly. Entry door and hallway on the way to the room is disgusting . Mold around jacuzzi bathtub is unacceptable. Multiple pictures taken for required evidence as needed.
this property is way below any standard I would have expected on your site. The outside area is unkept and dirty The room was nothing but a mess from the cockroach that was in the bathroom and bathroom mirror coming apart to the dirty sheets on the bed. Not to mention all the bed bugs I found that were on the pillows on the dirty bed. Want a refund of my stay as I left this establishment and had to stay at another hotal

Worst hotel stay of my life. No human should be exposed to the conditions of this hotel!! Our shower and bath didn't work, lamps missing light bulbs, holes in the blankets and curtains. WE FOUND A USED CONDOM UNDER THE SINK IN THE BATHROOM! mold growing in the hallways!!
When i attempted to speak to them about the conditions they didn't care. These people should be so ashamed.
I asked them if they'd let one of their family members stay in any room at the hotel and she refused to answer

Did not enjoy my stay. Did it seem like a safe location. I was told on check in where a good place to park my car was so I could keep an eye on it.
I booked online , 2 rooms for 4 nights. We had bugs in the first room. The front desk was amazing and gave us a new room. It was better we still had the bugs but we flushed what we say down the toilet. The front desk staff made us not want to keave because of how amazing he was towards us. We enjoyed our stay.
The grounds are an ash tray. Cigarette butts everywhere! Room 134 smelled like mold, it stunk ! Room 118 was better until the next morning, when i saw a cockroach in the bathroom sink. The hallway carpets are NASTY!! Stains all over the place. They are trying to make it look like their "improving" putty smeared all up and down the hallway on the walls. It looks like s***.. My 5 yr old great granddaughter could have made it look better. I will NEVER stay at any one of these hotels EVER!!! There was no stopper in the sink. Styrofoam cups just set out to use for coffee or whatever. Not individually wrapped.

The pool was closed, breakfast was only carb loaded choices and bland, our room's entrance light and blow dryer did not work, and there was no phone in the room. The carpets were filthy and the smell of pot was extremely thick in the hall. I'd like a refund or something for this horrible experience.
STAIN ON BED SHEET, AND SOME HAIR IN BETWEEN THE SHEETS WHICH TO ME SEEMED LIKE THEY DID NOT CHANGE THEM OUT. THE FLOORS WERE DIRTY, AND A BAD SMELL IN THE ROOM.
This place is horrible. If I could get some type of refund I wish I could. A lot of false advertising. The hot tub that I was told was working was not. The hotel was beyond dirty, our feet were black after walking in our room. Dirty sheets with stains, no towels in the pool area. Breakfast was a joke, had tons of cereal but no milk was available. They had waffles and white bread and that’s it. Very disappointed in this hotel. Not to mention the cockroach that was crawling around on the bathtub
The pool and spa were down. This is also in the hood. Normally I don’t care about something like this but someone was murdered right outside our window at 6:30 in the morning.

We had to wait 15 minutes before anyone even came to the front desk, the rooms need repairs and updates, the coffee maker didnt work, the leather was peeled halfway off the chair, the beds were clean and comfortable but the breakfast was literally only waffles, 2 kinds of cereal, regular sliced bread and coffee. Not the best deal for the price
