    Average stay and not cheap at all

    This hotel has a fabulous location, especially for tourists. Located 2 mins from the metro station and 10-12 mins from Chunxi street (popular for shopping) but the overall experience was just average. While the staff is really polite and patient, most of them didn’t know English. So communicating anything to them took a while. The rooms are smaller than usual Holiday Inn rooms. The air conditioning in the room broke down after day 1 and we were given a room cooler instead. the breakfast spread was good. However, when I asked for a packed breakfast on the last day to take to the airport, I was given two sweet buns and some more sweet bread to go. I am sure they could have done better or at least asked me for my preference. The hotel offers special pillow service but when I requested for one, another regular pillow was sent to the room, after 30 minutes of wait. The hotel also has an indoor pool and a spa. But the pool is in the basement and the spa wasn’t operational. My stay could have been much better if these smaller things had been taken care off.
