harold.familySep 01, 2023 Staff was great. Room was nice. We got the Apartment which worked well for us to have some light meals in the room with an almost completely separate bedroom from living area. Garage is a little tight if you have a large vehicle.

Great hotel in the middle of Weimar, a beutiful little city. Only disappointment: On Sunday evening, the hotel restaurant was closed.

gabriela.partnerSep 28, 2021 The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, the breakfast is abundant and offers a good variety. The property is located right in front of a large, beautiful park where Goethe's garden house still stands. The personnel are friendly. In general, Weimar was a delight.
william.friendsSep 13, 2021 Spacious quiet rooms on the edge of beautiful Gothe Park. A short walk to historic Weimar attractions, shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was excellent for dinner with a reasonably priced wine list. Vegetarian offerings available. Even a shoe polisher available near the elevators to buff out scuff marks from your daily walks.

The hotel is ok for one or two nights. The staff at the reception is semi friendly, at breakfast the ladies were great and friendly! The bathroom floor was not clean, the rest was ok. All in all I can recommend the Hotel if you expect nothing special.

Hôtel service was weak at reception as we were sent to a parking 20 Minutes walk away from the hotel. (Our car is a 4x4 which is 2.10 meter high and could not enter the hotel parking)
The next day the other receptionist was sorry for that (as we could have left the car in front of the hotel) and was very kind and offered us a compensation charging only half the breakfast cost.

Fantastic staff, amazing breakfast and the great idea of being rewarded for not having room serviced, We enjoyed the drink voucher , a bonus , as there was no hospitality tree in the room. Would certainly recommend it to friends!

We had booked a standard double room but were upgraded under Expedia VIP program to a Suite which was very classy. The room had everything we look for in a hotel and parking in the underground carpark was 20 Euro per night. We had a lovely dinner and drinks on the hotel terrace using our VIP vouchers. The Hotel and the sights and ambience of Weimer is highly recommended
michelle.familyAug 11, 2019 We had a delightful stay here with friends and family. The hotel is in close proximity to the Goethe Museum and the shopping/restaurants in the old section of town. We were able to walk to everything. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. Rooms were efficient, but dated. The carpet needs to be replaced in the rooms my family stayed as no amount of carpet cleaning would refresh it. The bathrooms, although dated, were well maintained and clean. I would stay here again.
Lovely Stay; Shall Return
Very comfortable, quiet, clean accommodations in an excellent location next door to Goethe Haus in classy, old Weimar. The Dorint features a spa but their response for massages was too slow to take advantage; best to book ahead. Tight squeeze getting in and out of the Dorint garage. Spartan restaurant design but food fresh.
Hotel is very nice. Room was really nice, except for a lack of outlets to plug in devices. Common areas a pleasure to spend time in.

A completely delightful hotel. A superb location for walking around Weimar. Extremely comfortable. The decor is first rate. Breakfasts are something to look forward to. Staff very courteous and helpful. A room overlooking Goethepark provides a wonderful view.
