Royal Agate Beach Resort

The property is located right across the Pantai Cenang beach which is the most popular tourist destination at Langkawi. There are a lot of eating options located within walking distance along with other amenities such as bike/scooter rental (which is a highly recommended option for exploring the Island), Cenang mall, underwater world, souvenir shops etc. The rooms are clean but basic. Definitely could do with some extra chairs but since we stayed out most of the time and came back only to sleep, it wasn't much trouble. There is a fully functional swimming pool too. The rooftop restaurant was under renovation during our stay.

Pentai Cenang beach is where the heart is. You will find all kinds of food joints including food truck stop. Shopping,duty free, massages,scooter rental,water sports activities you have it all. The Royal Agate Beach Resort has a clean well maintained pool which is refreshing if you tired of the salty sea water. Everything is within walk-able distance. You can choose rooms from partial or sea facing. Rooms are cleaned daily. They are very particular about the check in and check out time. Overall satisfied with the stay.

Hotel location is good. We stayed in this Royal Agate Beach Resort for 2 day. Location is near the sea approx 100 meter only. Room was clean. But they not allowed check-in before 2 pm. Not even at 1 pm. We reached there 11 am and request them to check-in at 1 pm but they did not allow. They charge more per for the room as tourism tax. They keep money as security which give back at the time of check-out. They only provide 2 small water 500 ml bottle. Breakfast is not included. Overall good.

Location is excellent, you just have to cross the road and you will be on the beach, you can enjoy water sports there. It is near to the Airport and on the main street. It has a tiny swimming pool. You will have access to many good restaurants and shopping outlets. I and my wife prefers vegetarian food so there is a nice restaurant called India palace, it is just walking distance from the Royal Agate Beach Resort.

The best thing about this Royal Agate Beach Resort is the rooftop restaurant. It's overlooking the Cenang beach and has a 360 degree view. We has booked a sea view room and the view from the balcony was beautiful. You can see the entire stretch of Cenang beach walk. The room is a bit average and bathroom is ordinary when compared to other Royal Agate Beach Resorts on the same lane. Room is spacious and clean.

I stayed here with my husband. The rooms are very spacious and mostly Beach facing. All amenities are provided. The staff is very polite and helpful. The best part is location of the Royal Agate Beach Resort as it's in the main street of Langkawi, close to indian restaurants, street shopping and Beach. The Royal Agate Beach Resort has buffet breakfast including fruits, juice, milk, eggs and vegetables.

Best room, best staff, booked two room, one room AC was faulty so got upgraded one, please see sunset view from Royal Agate Beach Resort terrace its superb, small charge you have to take any beverage at least to view sunset. Must to book if you look at budget and good Royal Agate Beach Resort.

It was a good stay in Royal Agate. Rooms are good. But the roof top was in maintenance. We enjoyed the stay. The service was ok but not too good. The Royal Agate Beach Resort location is very close to Beach and one can find all the required shops for shopping nearby.

Budget Royal Agate Beach Resort, clean rooms, toiletries given. Cenang Beach is right ahead, with street shopping just downstairs. 3 Indian restaurants within 5min walk. Zon duty-free, underwater world, Starbucks just 10mins walk.

The Royal Agate Beach Resort is so close to the beach. It was clean and cheap and really conveniently located in the major street on Cenang Beach with lots of nightlife, street shopping and snacks and food outlets nearby!

Rooms are very spacious and neat. staff is helpful, if you ask. Towels are a bit old. Rooftop is closed when I am there. Very near to beach and exactly in the middle for all tourist attractions.

Stayed 3d/2N and it was a wonderful stay, just 2 mins walk to Cenang Beach and many shops are near by. 24 hours Royal Agate Beach Resort is just near to the Royal Agate Beach Resort.

Best place to stay location wise. Hotel is very near to Beach and all the restaurants and tour packages are nearby. Hotel staff is very polite and helpful.

For short stay, it was nice, we had no difficulty in finding it, not luxurious but offers a nice view of the beach from balcony.

It was my first international stay and I can say that stay was flawless. Location is bang on Pantai Cenang and middle of most happening place of entire Langkawi. Nice clean rooms.

Good Royal Agate Beach Resort and near to Cenang Beach. No Indian breakfast. We ate bread and jam, juice and salad.
