Our stay at the ULIV was good but not great.
The area is super safe, and the 24 he security guards are very kind. It was a wonderful neighborhood and walking distance or a short Uber to much of what we wanted to do and see.
The property is cute, updated, and well furnished.
However, the construction of a few elements seemed cheaply done, and was in disrepair. The shades on the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows were all broken, so we couldn’t open them. Also there were only two towel hooks for a 2br 2ba apartment. The hand towel holders were falling off the walls, and the door knobs were loose.
I would still stay here again because it was great for a group or a family, but I hope they take time to fix things up!
You have to ring the buzzer to gain entry into the property and a security personnel will open the door. There was another staff member to assist with my check-in and I was given a security code to access my studio instead of using a key. My studio was located on the ground floor, which was very convenient as the place does not have an elevator to go up to the higher floors. It would have been difficult for me to walk up the stairs with my suitcase. The studio came with a little private patio which was nice. Staff and security were nice and accommodating. When I requested an extra roll of toilet paper, the front desk security delivered it within 5 minutes. I also requested an air-conditioned room, and since it wasn't, I was given a plug-in room fan instead. The studio does not have closet space to hang clothes, only shelves. The shelves are located below and above the bar counter, which I located on my own. There was no hair dryer, hand towel or bathmat. Since my studio was on the ground floor, it was also located at garage level. The kitchen and bathroom windows opened up to the garage, so there was no scenery. During my stay, I was told there would be construction close by starting at 9am until late afternoon, but I was out of the room by then, so construction noise was not an issue. The little kitchen was adequately equipped with dishes, cookware and utensils. There was also a mini fridge and coffee maker.
Such an amazing location, I really loved stayed here! Amazing hosts!!

melissa.family_with_childrenApr 05, 2024 Mafer is a gracious hostess and was very helpful throughout our stay. Just a few things I would've wanted to know before reserving:
1. There is no air conditioning (but plenty of fans which helped immensely)
2. The penthouse suites are on the 5th floor (and no elevator so quite a trek)
3. The king bed in the penthouse suite is in a loft area of the central room so no sound/light separation or privacy.
4. The railing along the stairs and lofted bedroom have no balusters, meaning under the handrail is open space. Especially if traveling with children this is a safety hazard.
We had a great time and would definitely recommend for a great and safe location in CDMX.
rebecca.familyApr 04, 2024 This is my second trip to Mexico City and my sister and I chose this lodging due to its location, it having two bedrooms and bathrooms and its amenities for a multi-night stay, such as a kitchen and laundry. We also booked this lodging to have access to our own patio. This was a special trip to celebrate my 50th birthday and the host, Fernanda, was welcoming, warm and went above and beyond in ensuring that everything was comfortable for our stay. The apartment and its furnishings are not luxurious, but they are comfortable. Some minor upgrades to the amenities, such as higher quality sheets and pillows, salt and pepper, a daily supply of coffee pods and filtered water (to cut down on waste) would be helpful, as there is no daily housekeeping. However, these things did not negatively impact our stay. In fact, our apartment, which faced the back, was quiet, cool and had a wonderful breeze at night. As others have stated, the lodging is in the PERFECT location, within walking distance to two parks, restaurants, shopping and more. Unlike another reviewer, Condesa and this lodging is extremely safe, with 24-hour security staff who are polite and very helpful. Overall, I would stay here again as I felt as though I were at home in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Mexico City. Thank you to Fernanda and to the entire staff for such a wonderful trip.

Heart Of Condesa. Couldn’t find anything better. Wish there was an elevator, but at least we only had to walk Up 2 flight of stairs with our suitcases.

Really lovely spot in a great walkable neighborhood. Located between two gorgeous parks and tons of cafes, it’s a perfect vacation spot. Would stay there again!

I asked for a refund and it was denied, since it was "non-refundable ". But when the street is unsafe at night, I believe some flexibly would be in order.

We loved the location and the apartment was great except it was ABSOLUTELY FREEZING because there was no heater and there was just one blanket on the bed when we arrived. It wasn’t a lush duvet, it was a thin blanket and when we asked for more Mario, the manager was reluctant to send us more. He did send 3 more blankets but what we really needed was heat for the entire place. Our friends in the apartment above us had a tiny heater that helped but we didn’t have one. We had to resort to turning on the stove-top to heat the kitchen. We certainly couldn’t hang out there to relax because it was so cold, we wore coats inside the apartment and went to bed fully dressed. So if you want to be comfortable there, don’t visit in the winter.
This place was quiet and spacious, and on a nice side street. 24 hour security and they were responsive to our request for a heater when it was cold. Would stay again.

shaun m.familyNov 15, 2023 "I recently stayed at this establishment for a one-day visit. The location was pleasant, situated in a nice area with nearby restaurants. The security personnel were amazing and super helpful and supportive.
However, the absence of an elevator presented an inconvenience, especially when carrying luggage up very narrow stairs. Additionally, the condition of the rooms left much to be desired. There were noticeable issues with the flooring, including missing or loose sections. Moreover, the slow shower drains restricted our ability to take more than a brief 3-minute shower.
The host was accommodating, offering a late checkout, although it was only extended until 11:30. Despite this, the ability to leave two vehicles in the garage until 12:30 was appreciated.
In summary, while the location and security staff were positive aspects of the stay, the room conditions, particularly the flooring and shower drainage, detracted from the overall experience. For a longer stay, I would not recommend this accommodation."
