We felt like we stepped directly into paradise from the first moment we set foot at Mi Kasa Tu Kasa. The grounds, nature, and lagoon of course were breathtaking and Mi Kasa Tu Kasa was the perfect place to enjoy it from. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed the restaurant and generous complementary breakfast. The free kayaks and paddle boards were our favorite! Would definitely recommend to a family member or friend for a family or couples getaway.
alessandro.partnerJan 08, 2024 We came with high expectations due to feedbacks from guests, got a little disappointed with the room, missing a table with chairs and place to put luggage, we had to leave all in the ground, they mentioned the bed is queen size but it is actually Matrimonial size 1.40m wide.
Hotel staff very courteous and helpful, communication by WhatsApp with person running the hotel really helps, it is away from town so need a car or arrange taxi for any transportation to downtown.
Nice deck to lagoon and breakfast simple but also good.
The lagoon is realy nice and it worths the visit.

erika.partnerJun 01, 2023 The property was beautiful. Loved that we could walk up to the laguna and lay out or use the free kayaks or paddle boards. I would say the location isn’t the most ideal to walk to the center of bacalar. You have to drive 5min to get into town. Also, one of the female cooks couldn’t get my order right twice. I ordered the ahi tuna tostadas and she gave fried and oily octopus with plantains on 2 different days. The continental breakfast was free but very small portions. All in all it’s a beautiful place but can be a hassle since you have to drive into town for the sight seeing and food

Having kayaks and paddle boards included was perfect to get out on the lake. Highly recommend going to the pier in the morning to watch the sunrise
Lovely surprise - looks so much better than in pictures. Lush garden property stretching all the way from main road down to the lakeside. The private pier was our personal highlight - did not want to leave after two days! Highly recommended!

isaura.friendsMar 09, 2023 The property grounds are nice and the private access to the lagoon is exceptional. The staff is great specially Adrian and Marco at the restaurant. They are super attentive and the food is delicious, we enjoyed every single meal. Only con is the rooms are plain and simple, bed is not so comfortable and wifi service is not the best. However, it’s a nice place if you’re looking to relax and unwind.

Mi Kasa is a secret gem on the shores of Lake Bacalar. The rooms are lovely, the grounds well maintained and the lake is spectacular. Would definitely return!
mehmet.partnerFeb 17, 2023 The hotel designed very nicely, has a very pleasant environment however, the hotel room has only the queen bed nothing else. There wasn’t neither a chair nor a desk to put stuff on or sit and have a little snack. Just a queen bed in the middle, two very small night stands that you can only put your cellphone on. Also, there were a few stains on the bed sheet, I went and mentioned to the person at the front desk, she just said she is sorry. am quite disappointed .

I loved everything about this small hotel, the gardens, the service, the lake views, comfortable room, the breakfast was good and included in the price, you also have free access to paddle board and kayaks. I will definitely come back!!
