Stay at Hotel Friend's Home friend's home was a wonderful experience. To start with, the Hotel Friend's Home is located right in the middle of the market place and has access to everything. It is located a walking distance to the heritage site Kathmandu Durbar square. The staff was so friendly and accommodating in every aspect. They understood the fact that we were from a different country and helped us with everything they could. The food served at the Hotel Friend's Home was simple and homely food. The rooms were clean and spacious and so were the washrooms. Running hot and cold water and everything was just as mentioned in the cataloger. I would highly recommend Hotel Friend's Home friend s Home to anyone travelling to Kathmandu and willing to stay in a quiet but central locality.

The stay at the Hotel Friend's Home was very pleasant and nice. dinner and breakfast was also exceptional. however pls don't rely on the Hotel Friend's Home staffs advice for local sightseeing. We were in the city for a days time and had chosen to visit Limited places. However, with wrong advices from the Hotel Friend's Home staff we ended up screwing our sightseeing and had an unpleasant time traveling in the city and eventually ended up hating the city for this very reason. So a good place to stay but travel your sightseeing on your own to make your visit more memorable.

We visited Kathmandu from India on a family trip in early Oct 2019 and stayed at Hotel Friend's Home Friends Home for three nights. The Hotel Friend's Home stays true to its name. The owners & staff are so welcoming, humble & friendly that the Hotel Friend's Home certainly feels like Home. They make every effort to guide you through the sight - seeing places so that you don't miss out on anything. The rooms are cozy, food is good but the best part about the Hotel are the people - warm & welcoming. Really happy & thankful.

We had a comfortable stay for one night at Hotel Friend's Home. But we were given rooms on 5th-floor and they don't have lift. As per me, the Hotel Friend's Home is average in comparison to what they charge. Even they asked for too much money for Airport drop. Don't know how that works. Nothing bad about the Hotel Friend's Home but not worth the money asked. Can get better options. Room 4/5. Cleanliness 4/5. Food 4/5. Service 4/5. Location 5/5.

Small Hotel Friend's Home but very well maintained. Located at very much tourist place, Thamel. Only 20 mins away from Kathmandu international airport. Rooms are neat and clean. Breakfast is also good. Tea coffee is free for all day long. For booking through makemytrip, it is difficult to locate the Hotel Friend's Home for first timers as they don't provide direct number of the Hotel Friend's Home.

This Hotel Friend's Home is a good choice if you want a quiet stay in the fun chaos of Thamel. Helpful and kind staff. Clean facilities. Immediate hot water in the shower. Adequate Wi-Fi. Sufficient breakfast. The economy room was small but served it's purpose, for a single traveller just fine.
