Hotel Woodland Kathmandu

The location (Durbar Road) of the Hotel Woodland Kathmandu is wonderful and kind of high-end for Nepal. Narayanhity Palace Museum (Palace of former King of Nepal), Thamel Market, Annapurna Casino, Dreams Cafe, etc. All are at an approachable distance. Airport is also 4 kms from there. You can enjoy an evening walk on Durbar Road. On both the sides of Durbar Road, there are showrooms where you can shop anything you like. The Hotel Woodland Kathmandu in itself accommodates the rooms with pool view, spa & salon, room service, pool bar, laundry etc. Its a convenient & comfortable place to stay in.

Good room with courteous staff. Rooms are spacious. The room service was prompt. Hotel was close to market and museum. Food was good in complementary breakfast. We visited with family and it was safe. The only small issue was that there is some noise of songs at night from nearby place. Property is old but facilities are good. Hygiene and cleanliness is maintained. Hotel staff are good.

Location: Easy accessibility to the market, can roam around even in the night. Food: This needs to improve. Poha was uncooked, bhaturas were hard, breads were soft and omelette was awesome. Service: less staff, plates dropped outside the room were not picked up even after 2 days. Cleanliness: to be improved further. Overall: manager was supportive, staff was also polite and helpful.

This is an ideal Hotel Woodland Kathmandu for all sort of trips. Its location, facilities, services, staff, everything is good. Many of the tourist attractions are within 2-3 km. It is Recommended to all: singles, family, business person. Even few of film stars have a stay there. While I was staying there I met Mr. Ranjeet singh from bollywood.

This Hotel Woodland Kathmandu is situated at Durbar Marg which is main road at Kathmandu. Location is excellent & nearby KFC, Domino, Baskin & good Hotel Woodland Kathmandus are there. You can enjoy while walking in evening. Rooms are big & clean. Staff are good & helpful. Taxis are available outside. Value for money

The Hotel is located on Durbar Marg near Hotel Annapurna & Narayanhity Palace Museum. Other tourists places are also nearby. The Hotel Woodland Kathmandu rooms are spacious, neat & clean, and provide good services. Poolside dining & bar facility is available. Spa & Salon are also within the premises.

Very central location on Durbar Marg, 10 min walk to Thamel, close to any part of KTM, pool is not temperature control, good food, small portions in ala carte, bathroom’s could be better. Old world charm, needs better guest facilities for directions and getting cabs for local transport.

Please improve your service. Your Hotel Woodland Kathmandu building is very old please maintain it or your Hotel Woodland Kathmandu need complete renovation. Your site is prime so please maintain as compare to other new Hotel Woodland Kathmandus at darbar road.

Woodland Hotel Woodland Kathmandu is centrally located. Which is the best part. Just walking distance from Durbar market. Yak and yeti five star Hotel Woodland Kathmandu is just opposite. Which has really good casino. Breakfast was average. Pool was okay.

It has been a pleasant experience with woodland Hotel Woodland Kathmandu in nepal. Cleanliness of room, hospitality by manager, receptionist, and even food at the restaurant was great. Thank you for such a lovely experience. Look forward to visit again.

The room is very clean and tidy with good view. The service is excellent and I had a pool side breakfast which is marvellous. The room service is also very good with good food. Neat and clean bathrooms which I just for a traveller. I like the location.

though the rooms are spacious but small Challenges(like cockroach) etc. appeared. it is not A 4 star property, however can consider as 3 star or bit below. location is good.

Our official tour for 4 nights stay at Woodland is nice and enjoyable. Though the Hotel furnished a little bit old-fashioned. Suggests upgrading the same. Rest everything is good.

This is 5th time I was staying here.

Hotel location, staff and room cleanliness is very very good. Don't be fooled by the external appearance of the property. Rooms are good and well maintained. The plug points are not conveniently placed inside the rooms, but rest is very good.
