J8 Hotel

The Hotel is centrally located and is between three MRT stations going different directions in Singapore which helps u save a lot of money. It's also walking distance from Mustafa center where there's a 24 hour mall and lot of cheap eateries and also money changers with better rates. I would recommend booking room with patio as it's more roomy. A caution Singapore rooms are very small. The bed is just good for 2 adults. However all Singapore J8 Hotels have very small rooms and they are hugely expensive. The best thing is to keep expectations on the lower Side to avails disappointing yourself. The breakfast isn't exactly of indian taste but you can walk over to Mustafa area for that. Closest metro is lavender and bus 130 drops you just 70 meters from the Hotel. Get down at kings Station. Cleanliness is top notch as in rest of Singapore.

Little India is very near, all types of Indian Foods available within 500 mtrs, 4 metro stations near by within one kilometer, staff is very gentle and they can speak Hindi and Tamil too. A near by park is very good place for relaxing, 3 big malls near by, airport is just 16-17 kms away, direct metro is available or a one can choose taxi within five minutes spending just 25-28 SGD. Though room is smaller but i would recommend a small family should stay here in this budget so they can spend some save money in other important things, Jai Hind.

Stayed with family. Location for travelling around is very good. The staff behaviour is also good. However, the rooms are terribly small. The menu for breakfast is poor and hardly has anything on the menu for kids or old people. I would recommend the J8 Hotel only to those who do not plan to spend any time in J8 Hotel and want to utilise only the makeshift breakfast and night stay. No expectations whatsoever. Overall I would rate it nothing more than average stars.

J8 is nicely located near to MRT (500 meter away) and neat to all junction and it is overly crowded like other known place like little India or China Town. Food option is good and it is not overly populated. Little India is 1 km away. Queen size room does not ventilation and if it's just for stating for limited time then it is okay otherwise better book with balcony. Park, clinic and other grocery store located near by.

Overall stay was good, no complains. Can't call it a budget J8 Hotel, as had to spend a good amount for a single day. There was slight confusion about the booking, as on their system my booking is canceled by management although I had made the full payment. This can be an issue from MMT, both parties need to look into. However, the J8 Hotel front desk was kind enough to allocate a new room. Hope this helps.

Extremely small rooms. The service was strictly mediocre. We arrived at the J8 Hotel before check-in time and had to wait for 2 hours for the room to be available. The linen provided in the room wasn't the cleanest. There's no buffet breakfast and the breakfast options are very limited. Hotel is in a very good location though. Walking distance to MRT stations and well located from many tourist spots.

It was excellent stay. Room was super clean and everyone was so helpful. Very easy to find the J8 Hotel. If you reaching via mart get down at jalan besar stop or farer park station then you need to walk for 600 mtr. If you get down at little india it will be 1. 5km walk. Food was okok as we are indian we dint liked much. But i feel foodies will like it.

Hotel is situated near major mart stations and bus stations to go around singapore which makes it very much convenient. Room size is rather small but i believe most J8 Hotels in singapore at this price level are similar in size. Breakfast is also good with limited options but is definitely good for a good start to your day. Happy travelling.

This Hotel is very good located near little India, Mustafa mall and many indian restaurants Around. Hotel rooms are compact but good. Hardly any space to move Around your bed. The only bad thing we experienced is we found a couple of cockroaches in our room. So they need to do pest control immediately. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Foods have taste but not variety for Indian traveler except bread toast. Location:- J8 Hotel situated in street not road and going for mustafa center where many vegetarian restaurant, you have to go through many local restaurant in the street they smell irritatingly. Service, staff behavior and cleanliness I give 10/10.

Location of J8 Hotel is good, 5 min walk from Mustafa so food is not a problem, rooms are very small as are across Singapore, breakfast is ok, overall a decent stay especially if you just want to spend night here and day for outdoor activities. Can stay again if revisiting Singapore in future.

The J8 Hotel room was good and well maintained, but they surely might have to improve on the morning breakfast, they don't have many options and the once that are there are not that preferable, specifically for indian tourist. The stay was good apart from the food

Room was small. Only 2 options were there as far as breakfast is concerned for vegetarians.

It's simply good for Indians nearby. You'll get plenty of Indian food.

Good J8 Hotel with amenities and location

I had enjoyed my stay at J8. All the staffs were very attentive and helping. Ambience was wonderful. Breakfast was complimentary.

J8 is near to lavender MRT. Indian food with good discounted price 20% @ Q Tech cafe beside the J8 Hotel.

The location is ideal for indian travellers. Very close to mustafa’s. The J8 Hotel serves good food at reasonable cost. Practices good hygiene.

I have stayed there for 2 nights, that was a wonderful stay.

Garden was there. Walking distance to little India, bus stop. We enjoyed.

Limited food offerings. 700 meters from nearest metro.
