Nice place safe and near Pier beach party on backside of hotel Indian restaurants nearby. Staff also very good. Must stay. No mosquitoes.

We stayed at PP Tonsai Place for 2 days. Hotel was good. They have provided quite good services. Food was not included in package.

Review about PP Tonsai Place, Phi Phi Island check in date 15 Dec 2019, check out date 17 Dec 2019 I booked this hotel through MMT and it was the worst experience of my life! It was worst than a guest house with the pricing of a hotel. Feedback is as follows 1) No lift : I got the room at third floor and to my surprise there was no lift in the hotel, I actually had to lift my bags till the third floor. 2) No intercom : There was no intercom or phone facility in the room. So, for every small thing I had to go down till the office, which was awful! 3) No 24 hour office support : The office closes at 9:30 pm in the night and there is no staff. No one comes to clean your room or replenish water bottles everyday. I had to keep asking for them again and again. 4) Room condition : Our room was in a bad condition as it was smelling very damp. Walls were breaking down due to dampness and it was all over the walls. Empty mini bar just an old empty fridge. The bathroom tap and other things were rusted badly. 5) No security : As office closes at 9:30 pm and all the back and front doors are open 24×7 which is scary! 6) No hot water : The bathroom didn't have the basic requirement of hot water in taps as it was really annoying! 7) No room service : There was no room service at all, no one was there to even give you basic necessities/basic information. 8) Cockroaches inside the room : We also experienced few mosquitoes as well cockroaches inside the room which was very unhygienic. 9) No amenities/no view : This hotel has no view at all as it's in the back lanes and balcony opens on the back side of other hotels. No amenities like swimming pool or laundry, actually nothing at all! 10) Over all : Amongst my worst experience as the pricing is as good as a 4-star hotel and this is nothing more than a shady guest house. So, I am superior disappointed. Given the worst experience.

Washroom was so smelly and only 2 water bottles were provided per day. No telephone facility in the room. Very disappointing.

PP Tonsai Place is a very budget friendly hotel. It was super neat and clean. Rooms were spacious. The host was also very sweet and always smiling. The hotel is located near the pier, hardly 5 minutes by walk. You will get everything you need within 2 minutes walk from the hotel. A lot of restaurants, bars and eateries nearby. Also you'll find general stores, pharmacies, all very close to the hotel. Instead of being at such a location, it was very quite and peaceful. I will definitely recommend staying at PP Tonsai Place.

Place was closed to the beach, room was average, needs fumigation, lizards in balcony, mosquitoes in room. No assistance provided by the staff after checking out with the luggage, we carried our luggage ourselves, even my 7 yr kid was carrying the luggage but the staff did not even care once consider helping us.

Phi Phi islands don't have much options for 3/4 star stays. Phi Phi Tonsai is good budget place near to Ton sai pier and market place.

I did not like the list of fines they have placed just below the led, everyone does not goes to misuse their property, approach road is little congested though near to the nightlife and pier, I would recommend only if you are on very tight budget. ( Not for couple and family).

I was not sure while booking this Place, whether I made the right choice. My mind changed as soon as I entered the room. It was clean and tidy and the host was more than welcome to be of assistance. The views form the balcony are beautiful and you can laze all day.

The rooms are very spacious. The property is located close to all attractions and the beach. The washroom was spacious, but the metal handles of the tap were corroded with water.

Great location as it is just on the middle of Phi Phi Island. From pier where you get down from ferry or from where you need to catch the ferry, this hotel is just 5 minutes walk. So you need not to take any private ferry. Less than 5 minutes walk and you will be on Loh Dalum Beach. Around this hotel, you can find the hospital, 7 eleven pharmacies, family mart daily grocery store and supplies, morning breakfast bakery, tea and European food places. Mc Donalds is nearby. All the pubs and bars are3 minutes walk from this Place. But the location of this hotel is so good that you u do not get any loud music from nearby bars, so you can have a peaceful night sleep. The room is spacious, the bathroom was good and big, each room has a balcony so you can out your wet swim clothes to dry in the Sun. Service is good, the ladies maintaining this Place at reception are very courteous. The separate Beach towel is available at no extra cost to you. This is not a resort, this is a great hotel to stay and explore the Phi Phi Island. Will recommend this Place to all for a good budget stay and peaceful sleep.

As in such. There is no food available in the hotel and office would be closed like before 9 PM. You have many food option in the streets, just hop in and have it.
