Booked for 3 single bed, on arrival no room were available, looked for new hotel but unfortunately no luck, then we were given a tiny room with 2 beds, I hade to sleep on the floor, you could hardly get in to the shower, it was so small and very old and rusty, very very basic breakfast, the beds were very dirty and old and very uncomfortable, hardly sleep the 4 nights we stayed.
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

River Hotel is a great value. Friendly staff, clean, delicious breakfast buffet, and super convenient location that is close to a lot of public transportation options. The main drawback for me was that even though my room was supposed to be non-smoking, there were so many people smoking everywhere that there was smoke seeping into the room. I had to open my window & air out the room quite regularly. But other than that, it was a great stay.

verified t.familyJul 02, 2019 Quick check in and very near to tram station. The rooms were recently refurbished, but still small. The bathroom looked good but the drainage in the shower cubicle was slow. The room was cleaned daily as well as items such as water and coffee were replenished.

Wonderful staff and very good breakfast but the rooms are a little too small. The room service cleans very well everyday and the front desk workers are very helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who comes to Istanbul.
