nancy.partnerOct 28, 2024 Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend.
Great stay, with an excellent staff. Quaint hotel, converted from a large house originally, restaurant was open and the food and service were excellent.
brian.partnerOct 20, 2024 The Inn was lovely and receptionist delightful to talk to. Room was large and comfortable. The whole area including Inn is still recovering from Hurricane Helene so grounds bit chewed up. Did see deer in grassy area by outside fireplace.

heather.family_with_childrenFeb 26, 2024 I appreciate the rooms were clean. But the walls are very thin and we were on the bottom floor and the people above us were loud all night long. There was no spa and the pool was broken.
Really enjoyed the rustic vibe and beautiful atmosphere. We were very disappointed with the acoustics and sounds of neighboring rooms and guests.
The overall stay was wonderful. Staff super nice and helpful. Two compliants: the bathroom fan did not work and the bathroom smelled like meldew ehich made tge room have a funky smell as well. I could hear what sounded like people moving furniture and running in the above me.
Great place for a nice mountain retreat! Cozy hotel and great indoor and outdoor views. The indoor pool was out of service, which was a downer since we wanted to enjoy it in the middle of the winter. Great restaurant and bar. Close to ski resort areas. Highly recommended.

sivagurunathan.Feb 18, 2024 This inn was very cozy and clean. It would have made the experience better if there was a fridge and microwave in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The downside is if your room is below another room, you barely get sleep because of the floor creaking. But overall it was an amazing stay!

Our negative comment and the only reason it wasn’t a overall 5 star stay for us is due to us being able to hear much of what was going on outside our room. Noise traveled from the hallway/dining area on the second floor even with us having a fan on, and unfortunately into the early hours of the morning we could hear much of what was happening in the room adjacent to us…
We thank the staff though for their professionalism and kindness, regardless of our stay not being as restful as we would have expected and wanted.
evelyn.friendsFeb 05, 2024 We booked for the sauna and pool. Both have been broke for 2 months or so. Nothing said about it at booking. So paid resort fee for not so great faciity.
It was like we were staying in an old mansion on beautiful grounds in the grandfather suite which was very large with a nice family room with fireplace. They should add a loveseat to that room so everybody can watch a movie. We managed by using chairs from the dining table. Love the antiques and the feel of the place. Each bedroom had giant walk in closets and there was 3 full bathrooms which was very convenient for the six of us.
Everything was amazing with us. If this is your first time, I do recommend this hotel !!
