Where i stayed was the oldest building, while it presented well in the room the hallways leading from the foya to the room was dark and erry. The food and drinks are way over priced. The check in and out was straight foward, the receptionists was lovely. 3 to 4 star from me.

If you are American and you see Ramada you think of a decent hotel. When i was searching for a place to stay on my first trip to Australia there were other more economical options on the beach but I wanted something familiar. Big mistake. This is NOT a hitel they are individually owned units and the staff are property managers. No daily service. The bed was uncomfortable, walls paper thin not even a coffee maker. Without daily service and only the bathroom trash can that barely fit 1 water bottle the room was impossible to keep clean. You had no choice but go out for everything including morning coffee.
Room not to a modern standard very basic. Upgrade required there was a bar and restaurant on site and coffee shop over the road ok for 1 night because airport is so close.
Liked the position, close to the beach.
Noisy old air conditioner on balcony, pool needs resurfacing actually cut the bottom of my foot.
The pictures from online were nothing what I received so I asked for an immediate refund and went elsewhere, the staff were happy to refund and there was no problems. The shift manager said that expedia only used images they can find so it's not always going to be exact or the same. In my case I purchased a queen beach view and walked in to a double pool view with no room at all.

Loved the pool area. Only here for 1 night. Room very average. Fan did not work. Rooms need an upgrade. Overall pleasant enough for 1 nights stay.

We really liked the quiet location, the swimming pool, access to the beach, and the onsite bistro. I would give 5 stars for the pool (size and warm water temperature). Small differences could have made the stay more comfortable, eg. Room door lock easier to open, and curtains in the room to blockout morning light and sheer blinds for privacy without blocking out daylight during the day. The mattress was comfortable, not hard. I would certainly return as overall enjoyed staying here.
Comfortable and Affordable Beach Stay
Great find on the beach! Underground parking provided with stay at no extra fee. Not many restaurants around the hotel in walking distance but a very convenient 7/11 across the street. Friendly staff and relaxing pool plus immediate access to the beach.
The property is nice, elevator, entrance whatnot. However my room had its issues. When water was in the bathroom it would pool next to the drainage hole and the balcony light didn't work.
The only Resturaunt was great food but expensive. Pool great. Location fair . BUT .I dont appreciate Wotif advertising the room i had (and showing pics) as ocean view when it was ,ocean glimpse, at best. Well over priced for the size of the room and the view. Very disappointed when i mostly use wotif for my hokiday accom.

The location is beautiful and right on the beach. The architecture is stunning and the pool is beautiful. There is a lovely restaurant downstairs which used to do buffet breakfasts but now does ala cart via QR codes which ruins the breakfast experience. The restaurant staff need more training because they were not helpful, to the point they actively tried not to make eye contact, which was the only let down of the stay.
The Ramada by Wyndham in Marcoola was an excellent venue for the National Flying-Fox Forum which I was attending. Staying onsite was a very good option. I liked the proximity to the beach which I went for two walks upon - one after arriving on the Wednesday afternoon and the other early on the Friday morning, after which I had a quick dip in the pool which was lovely.
I also liked the proximity to dining options - I went to the Tapas for their Curry Night on the Wednesday evening.
The proximity to the Sunshine Coast Regional Airport was a big plus - as well as being a short taxi ride to the Ramada on the Wednesday, I was also able to catch a cab back there on the Friday at lunchtime to pick up a hire car that I needed for the Friday afternoon to use for the field trips so I could get back to the airport in time for my return flight to Sydney (which was due to depart before the field trip bus would have arrived back at the Ramada).
The only two comments would make regarding improvements were firstly that cleaning staff should check the drawers as I found someone else's personal items in one of the drawers upon my arrival. Secondly, I would suggest a slight change to the configuration of the tap and spout at the bathroom sink. It is currently a little awkward as to turn the tap on one has to reach beyond the spout which is on an angle. It would be better to have the tap on the near side of the spout rather than on the far side. Perhaps this can be rectified so that it is easy.
