    One of the worst experiences we have ever had, especially a Holiday Inn chain

    The staff at the reception was extremely rude and have no manners. His name was Shrey and he was least bothered that we checked in late about 10 pm and my son who is 5 years old was sleeping and this guy was adamant that he won't take cash as security and he wants only credit card. We traveled from India and badly jet lagged. We told him we can give him some cash as security if he wants and then he said there was some episode last week related to cash and which is why they stopped taking cash. Our point is if you have made any changes like these, why were we not informed? At least a mail or an updated policy. We had the worst time checking in. He even raised his voice which was extremely shocking. We have been staying in Holiday Inn for a long time but this was the worst experience by far and we will have to think 10 times before we book Holiday Inn again. People are not trained, rude and irritating. Housekeeping guys were really nice and courteous. In all, I would give checkin experience a big zero or a minus if I can. Breakfast menu was same each day. Canada is a land of immigrants and a lot of Indians do travel. Should include something keeping that in mind.
