Unfortunately, as a solo traveler I didn't feel safe in the hotel, there are 2 buildings and I stayed at the back building, had to change my room one time. Overall great location and breakfast but I couldn't really sleep.

The property beautifully blends local charm with great comfort, and my room was a delight. I loved the authentic experiences offered, especially the decor. This is the perfect place for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the local culture!
A surprisingly good hotel. A bit dated but rooms very clean. Be warned - there's no lift.

My room was absolutely incredible. A huge tub, a terrace overlooking the spires of Tyn Church, a romantic window that opens overlooks the street. Location is top notch, staff was amazing. I felt like a queen. I would say the only thing that might be tough for some is the noise from the clubs. For me, I use a fan and ear plugs to sleep and with the windows shut, it was just fine. I would recommend this again and again, and I will be back. I spent 8 nights there and wish I was back.
This is our second time staying in this hotel. This hotel is in an old building. The rooms are spacious but the best part is its location. It is situated in the middle of the Old Town making everything walkable from the castle, the bridge, the New Town, the Old Town, and Wenceslas Square. Location, location, location and Hotel Metamorphis has it in spades.
Great stay. Friendly staff. Good communication before visit. Clean and comfortable. Fabulous location in the heart of the old town.

Breakfast was served in another nearby hotel. Breakfast was included in my reservation, but on the second day they charged me for breakfast because they did not have a record of me as a client of the Metamorphis hotel.
Of course I complained, but the only option they gave me was to pay and then ask for a refund at the hotel reception. I did and the hotel sent me back to the other hotel's restaurant to ask for my money back.
In short, a complete hassle I had to go through.
The location is super convenient. Hotel is located right in the middle of court yard behind Tyn Church, with tons of shopping, restaurants, bars and accessibility to basically everything you need. Metaphoris hotel is full of charm and enchanting history.

Wonderful location, wasn’t too noisy for me with the windows closed. Was able to walk about one block to the.Tynn church . Wonderful to watch the sunset every night from the old town Plaza.

Tons of shopping and restaurants around.
The staff were wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay.
The hotel room was a bit more dated than we originally expected but overall the property is nice. They have a beer spa on site which was a fun experience I highly recommend trying.
Would recommend staying here if you travelling to the city.
Would have rated higher except for check in. Told hotel we would arrive 1/2 hour after reception closed, but they still did not have anyone there on arrival. Had to literally walk around the block and get help from local to gain entrance

Great breakfast for an additional amount , which was very reasonable. Great location, close to the main plaza. We would definitely stay there again!!!
Staff was excellent and helpful. They made recommendstions and took good care of us. Will be back and highly recommend.
stephanie.friendsAug 18, 2024 At first glance, this place was great: the location is stellar and walkable to all the old town areas, room was large, nice balcony, has AC in the bedroom. It all went downhill from there.
The room reeked of cigarette smoke and was right above a club that is bumping music until 4am. Construction on the building began at bright and early at 7/8am so we literally got no sleep. Someone tried getting into our room around 3am the first night which was incredibly frightening and startling.
The staff was incredibly rude (especially the male front desk agent). Our booking got messed up and they had zero flexibility to help us remedy because of their firm “non refundable policy”.
I would NOT recommend this hotel to others.
