Lovely hotel in a pretty town
Hotel is lovely and picturesque. Room lovely and bed very comfortable. I arrived too late to try the restaurant but the lady kindly gave me a glass of wine to sit and enjoy prior to going to bed.
tony.family_with_childrenJul 26, 2023 Diagonalkroen Is a little remote if staying for Lego/Lalandia, a 20-min & DKK350 taxi being our only travel option. The motel style rooms near the car park can get very noisy. Otherwise clean, very friendly.
Very nice property, however, never actually saw an y hotel staff on site. The restaurant staff was nice, and they were as accommodating as one might expect, but it still would have been nice to see someone at the front office at some point...

Good room and building but no service per se
I was not happy that the instructions for check-in stated that you must contact us prior to arrival since we do not have a check-in front desk. There was no email address and no phone number stated along with these instructions. I did find a phone number further down in the documentation. Considering people come from all over the world with different phone plans, I think you need to have an email address to give to people so they do not have to call. Maybe there is one that I missed. I had to call you which meant turning on my telephone roaming service which in cost $16/day. We arrived to find an envelop with my name on it and the access number to the room. Breakfast was included that started at 8:00am but we had to leave at 7:30. I have previously stayed places where if you have to leave prior to breakfast, they will put together a small bagged breakfast for you. This did not happen. During our stay, we never saw a single person associated with the hotel. We arrived at 5:00pm and left at 7:30 the next morning.

There is no obvious reception to ask questions or for more Toiletpaper though. The town is quiet and everyone very friendly. Breakfast was good too

verified t.selfJul 04, 2019 Great location in the middle of town in the middle of Jutland. Good food. Lovely part of the world at a sensible price. Comfortable room, good parking: close enough to Billund for it to be called an airport hotel to my mind - I'd definitely stay any time I'm flying from there.
Hyggelig gammel moderniseret kro. Hyggelig og venlig atmosfære. Dejlige værelser og gode senge.
Lidt ærgerligt at toilet og bad, lå så langt henne.
Dejligt at man kunne spise på kroen.
Dejligt hotelværelse. Der lå en kuvert med mit navn i receptionen, da vi kom. Der var ingen til at tage imod os. Vi mødte faktisk ikke noget personale, andet end en enkelt kvinde om morgenen, da vi spiste morgenmad, men det var okay. Give er en hyggelig lille by. Vi kom dog om eftermiddagen og tog afsted igen næste moegen.

Vi hade ett fint o fräscht rum med 4 sängplatser för 2 vuxna o 2 barn. Bra sängar.

Lägenheten var inte helt ren när vi var på plats.
Ingen reception vilket försämrar service.
Det var en konstigt lukt i lägenheten och ingen airkondition. Lägenheten hade behövt renoveras.
Kro med ambitioner de ikke kan opfylde
En kro der slår sig op på maden i centrum mad men ikke har plads i restaurant. Det nærmeste pizzaria er OK men ikke når forventningerne var noget andet.
Værelset til 4 personer var senge på række til 1600kr som er til den dyre ende.
