Only complain I would have to add is if you’re a light sleeper and living on the first floor, the wooden floor above might make you annoyed if guest is walking around middle of the night. I’m a heavy sleeper so no issue for me.

The manor house had character. The beds were comfortable, however there was nowhere to "hang out" comfortably. The chairs were old and stiff and the couch wasn't comfortable. There wasn't a tv in the room which was hard with kids.
Cute and charming manor. Hosts were responsive to our questions and providing information regarding check-in. Well-situated to sites in downtown Rovaniemi.
Nice play area for kids in the main manor where we stayed.
caroline.partnerFeb 18, 2020 We really liked how authentic the property is. This is a beautiful Finnish home. When we arrived at night, everything was lit up and looked so magical and welcoming. The owners are very artistic and there are individual touches all over the property and even snowmen in the garden. You have plenty of space and everything you need in your apartment. It is only 10 mins walk to the main town square and the airport bus will drop you off right outside.
Our family of 7 enjoyed our stay at this lovely, cozy log house. Conveniently located... about 10 min walk from Rovaniemi city centre.
verified t.familyDec 16, 2019 Beautiful quaint rooms - not luxurious but something different and better than the surrounding apartments that are mundane and boring . The rooms were a great temperature, the beds were all singles ( we were a family of 5) and we had plenty of room as they are very spacious . The kitchen facility was very basic - I wouldn’t cook here . The location is terrific and we walked to the shops etc . The hosts are quick to respond and very helpful and friendly. I read the gift shop was awesome but sadly it was closed during our 2 night stay . We stayed in Dec 2019 and we didn’t see the northern lights but Lauri had sleighs outside for the kids to play in so they enjoyed that . I would easily stay and book here again and would recommend it to other travellers and families with kids . Thanks for having us .
Convenient and warm apartment
It was a nice stay in LAURI which complied with several big rooms. I was staying on the second floor with 5 single beds.
Overall it is a nice apartment, check in easily, close to the centre and supermarket. Strongly recommend to use the APP "Taksini" to call taxi to everywhere, it all takes about 10-20 mins to the spots in Rovaniemi.
The apartment is simple and good in condition, tap water and bath water was hot enough, washroom was spacious.
It is recommended to visit their own handcrafts workshop just 20m opposite of the apartment.
There was an open kitchen which you could use microwave and cook. However it was a bit inconvenient while the beds are in open area as well as the open kitchen. If you do not tend to cook it should not be a problem at all.

We stayed in Lauri 1 which is a big, spacious room. We very much enjoyed this genuinely Finnish space (and we are Finns) and it worked perfectly for a family of five. The surroundings are really beautiful and authentic, yet they are right in the middle of Rovaniemi, with easy access to everywhere. We recommend Lauri!

Totally awesome stay! The royal suite was clean, quiet, beautiful, large and the beddings were great. Exceptional experience! We will definitely come back. The atmosphere was so different.

Really comfortable. We slept much better than in typical hotel room. We'll be back. 😊
