The B&B was very close to the center of Lecce. However, there was no parking; parking was available a couple of streets away at reasonable cost. B&B is an old building that has been well renovated, but also on a busy street (some noise concerns). The room was fine, but the bathroom is severely restricted--barely one-arm length from wall to wall. Breakfast not available on site; but vouchers for a cafe on main piazza a few blocks away.
Helpful owner/manager, but limited hours. All-in-all, a reasonable choice for a single person or a young couple.
jennifer.partnerOct 25, 2022 The unit was very large, clean and modern yet inside of the most beautiful historic building and courtyard. It was centrally located so that we could walk to all of the sights and restaurants in Lecce.

A bit disappointing but in a perfect location
The location is excellent,right in the historic core of the city. The apartment itself is pretty good, very spacious. The furniture is a little bit sparse and the kitchen area poorly equipped. But the real let down was the quality of breakfast......very disappointing in terms of fresh fruit, fruit juices, interesting cheese or salamis or hams and least said about the coffee the better.
Poor communication especially re parking, the bathroom was dirty, a noisy compressor kept coming on all night, and the stairs were extremely steep. The room was very small. We didn't stay the second night and could not recommend the place to fellow travellers. Prior information as to the street for parking would have been useful. Our experience was not a pleasant one.
It was supposed to have coffee and tea making facilities but there was no kettle
and we were offered the bottom half of a rusty stained cafetiere to boil water in so we bought a saucepan. Despite being in a wine producing area there was no bottle opener so we were obliged to buy that as well. The bed had a dreadful squeak and the sheet had a hole in it. Altogether a disappointing experience as we`d been there before and really liked it. Very good position but we wouldn`t go there again.
Impossible to find. Impossible to park. Staff might have been having an off day and it showed. The room was cute and clean. Resturant across the street was good. Location in historic Center was good
Nonne Jole was a great place to stay for our trip to Lecce. Very centrally located in the old town with access to all of the sights and many restaurants within walking distance. Everyone enjoyed their break away and Paolo was very good in recommending some local restaurants for us to try out some Puglian food. Great place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Lecce.

I was very happy with my two night stay at this cozy little B & B within the city walls of ancient Lecce. My host John Paulo was very nice, and the breakfast was quite sufficient. I will definitely book this one again, on my return to Lecce
We loved Lecce-loads of palaces, churhes, museums and a roman amphitheatre to see.Old town is a short wal;k from train station. Lots of good cafes and very useful trip round on a touristy train with guided tour.
Great location for the old city, sites, bars and restaurants. Lecce is a great city with stunning architecture and a top restaurant and bar scene.
Very nice and roomy hotel.
The hotel was ideally located near the town square. It was a fun place to stay as it was part of an old villa. Access to the room was through some very large doors and into a foyer. The breakfasts were nicely done and were quite tasty. The staff was courteous and friendly and every thing was very clean. We would definitely stay there again.
Very clean, comfortable and well appointed room. The B&B was a short walk from the station and located close to the sights of Lecce. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!
Overall the room size was pretty good for Europe. The bathroom was not updated and the size was on the tight side. If you are tall, you may need to sit at an angle on the toilet. The pictures on the website seem to focus on a couple of the nicer rooms.
The standard rooms do not have laundry services or access to the terrace as shown on the website, so be aware of that.
Breakfast was alright, it did the job. There are a selection of tarts, yogurt, orange juice and cereal. Denis handles the breakfast and he is quite personable/friendly. He will make you a cappuccino or espresso to go with breakfast which is nice.
The location of the hotel is good. Parking is metered, you will need change between 9am and 9pm. It is also not always easy to find. Expect to make a 5-10 minute walk.
The room was beautiful, the staff were friendly, the location was great, and the recommendations for places to eat were spot on!
Great base to explore Lecce
Top class B&B in the Centro Storico of this beautiful city. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. One of the best, El Volo, is just a cross the street.
Be sure to email the owner for parking instructions, as you can't drive into the centre.
This BnB is located within ten minutes of the Lecce train station on foot, and is within the historical center. It is easy to reach the main sights by walking - all you need is a map. The owner was accomdating when I missed my train connection and ended up arriving at midnight. The breakfast is typically Italian - good variety considering there are only 3 guest rooms, I think. I had the room on the top floor (La Campanile) which opens out onto the terrace. Spotless bathroom, A/C available and appreciated!
Nonna Jole easy to walk to from the station. No one home when I arrived but contact number left on the door and did not need to wait too long.The room was a good size, comfortable and clean, tv , internet access and a small kitchen area ( saleno room),. Excellent breakfast downstairs. Great base with which to explore the town and surrounds. easy to access other villages Ostuni, Martina Franca, Alborobello and Locorontondo by rail from Lecce (Sundays/Feast days limited trains).
Good few days spent at Nonna Jole.
