Berjaya Langkawi Resort

Excellent location and layout though the property is bit older with older style furniture and fittings. However the entire property is well managed and has a wonderful layout in jungle surroundings and sea view chalets. I had upgraded my booking to sea view chalet by paying extra and it was worth it. I would recommend this upgrade. Housekeeping staff of my chalet was cutting corners by not brooming and mopping the floor as also not cleaning the mirrors in bathroom. Over-all its worth the money. Cut off from the rest of the town in isolation, one should stock up on water bottles, snacks etc on moving out the first time itself. Its a huge expansive resort duly supported by well managed shuttle service to n fro the lobby and restaurants. Being vegetarians, we found it bit difficult to look for variety or Asian taste.

The property is perfectly cut out for a couples’ romantic weekend, some of the best attractions of langkawi are in close vicinity and the airport is also at a convenient distance. They have catered for every wish list of a holiday travellers like sea front villas, rain-forest chalets, beach houses, beach party locations, exclusive beaches, bars, restaurants and awesome leisure activities. The wide choice of world cuisine in their delectable and unique gourmet restaurants was the best part from continental to indian, thai and malay, and seafood, something for every expectant taste bud! we had booked a rain-forest chalet for our anniversary vacation and were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a seafront cottage, what a lovely gesture! had a memorable holiday. From the moment i arrived, i was impressed by the warm hospitality and the exceptional service provided by your staff. The attention to detail and the care taken to ensure my comfort truly made my stay memorable. The accommodations were not only comfortable but also impeccably maintained. I particularly appreciated the turn around time for service, knowing berjaya is beachfront property widely spread near the andaman thank you once again for an outstanding experience. Resort property is huge with the dense forest and greenery all around. Cottages are nice. One has to take a Berjaya Langkawi Resort shuttle/buggy to reach the cottage from reception every time. I took one round of the property as a morning walk and it was about 2.5 kms. Resort is walking distance away from oriental village from where you can take a Skycab and also go to Skybridge. Couple of other adventure activities are nearby. However, property is 30 mins drive from the Labgkawi City centre, but driving in Langkawi is quite an easy and worthy experience. Resort also offers some activities like nature walk, photo shoot, Beach activities like kayaking, je Ski etc. Highly recommended.

We, as a couple had the most beautiful experience. The resort, itself is so serene and mesmerising that you would want to just be at the resort and enjoy the property. The resort is a private beach with water sports. We stayed in the sea view premium chalet. Spacious room and bathroom with both bath tub and shower stand. For cleanliness, I would rate this resort 10/10. Sky bridge/sky cab - the main attraction of Langkawi is a 4 min walk. Free shuttle service is provided by the resort. Staff was super nice and helpful. Watch for the monkeys though as there are many to give you a visit to your room balcony- keep the doors and windows closed all the time. Highly recommended!

Berjaya Langkawi Resort offers premium Luxury stay experience at surprisingly affordable prices. Their Premier Seaview Chalets had beautiful sea and island view, with all amenities and a complimentary minibar. Variety of restaurants available at very affordable priced menu, pool bar is really worth an experience, their complimentary breakfast spread is huge,comprising of continental, Chinese and Malay cuisines which gives a yummy and tummy full start to the day. This place offers really good Spa service, a must try at Berjaya. Overall, one must stay at least 4 days at Berjaya to experience all its amenities and ofcourse it's private beach ⛱️.

I stayed at the resort with my wife for 2 nights and it was a wonderful stay. Thanks to Berjaya Langkawi Resort they upgraded my room to premium seaview chalete. Property location is 10 mins walk from sky-cab and basically it’s opposite to pentai cenang beach where you’ll find all other pubs and beach bars. But that wasn’t the issue as it’s just 30 mins drive. Rooms are wonderful and services are good. For food they don’t have much options but quality is good though. Also their breakfast was great. I’d suggest this resort for a couple and family to have some peaceful time. It’s very nature friendly.

We had an excellent stay at berjaya, langkawi. The property is set at the edge of lush tropical rainforest, yet at the footstep is a gorgeous private beach. We stayed in their family rainforest chalet. We were provided with complimentary buggy rides from room to lobby and viceversa. The property has multiple restaurants with various options. There was a disruption in wifi service due to recent thunderstorm. Oriental village (skybridge)is 15 minutes walking from the property. You also get free rides from resort at fixed timings. Overall we had a lovely stay at the property

The berjaya langkawi is a 30+ year old resort but the maintenance and upkeep is excellent. The Berjaya Langkawi Resort and staff excel in all aspects but the one thing that truly stands out is the internal transportation using buggy's which never made us wait for more than 2 minutes even at the end of this sprawling resort. Grab taxis are easily available throughout the day but it could be challenging to get a car to the berjaya late at night (no need to worry though as a short whatsapp message to guest services will have them send a local taxi to pick you up)

The property is surrounded by mountains one side and Andhaman Sea on the other side. Rooms are constructed inside the rainforest. Lot of water sports and Spa facilities are available here to enjoy our vacation. The popular Langkawi sky cab (rope car) is just 200 myself from the property. Panthai Cenang Beach is about 20 minutes drive and airport is about 15 minutes drive. It's a wonderful stay for us and we enjoyed a lot mingled with natural rain forest and seashore entertainments. It's a good place for a relaxed holiday.

Overall an amazing experience. Location, Property, Amenities, service was too good. But a big time disappointment for vegetarian foodies. As far as food choices are concerned they are limited and over n above not up to the mark. So better approach some nearby restaurants for food. Most famous attractions of Langkawi - Skycab, Skybridge are at walking distance. It's a vast property spread over a very huge area so be ready to walk a lot though buggy services are amply available. Highly recommended for beach lovers.

Beautiful resort, very close to the sky walk. The place is huge so one needs to take buggy to move around. Hats off to the drivers who patiently shuttle people to their rooms all day long. We stayed in the rain forest studio. Every room comes with a balcony and free mini bar. The buffet breakfast had a huge spread. Overall i enjoyed the stay. But if one books this resort, it will be good to stay in and enjoy the facilities. Great hospitality. I would highly recommend berjaya langkawi resorts to everyone.

I must recommend berjaya langkawi to any age group and for all purpose of visits. Fantastic location and outstanding facilities. Private beach and pah n thai restaurant are a must visit.

This resort is self sufficient. You do not need to step out to have fun if you don’t want. Staff is very polite and helpful. All the adventure activities can be booked in the resort itself. Food buffet is great with many options of seafood. Accomodation was nice with privacy and sea view from balcony.

Good clean property, awesome access to the beach and nice pool. Cocktails were also great. Only downside was that a 2-3 lizards made way into our room.

The rooms are awesome. Located amid forest and excellent transport provided. The pizza was a delight for the veggie.

Every thing was good specially the staff ! food is good indian vegan option available ! only the packed breakfast was pathetic

Good location with private beach …

It is very good location. The Thai restaurant is too good and location is awesome.

Property has a private beach which is amazing but the location is far from everything. It is remote but i loved it because i wanted a peaceful vacation. Property needs renovation as it seems quite old but still it is quite better than lot many in langkawi. There are 2 major issues - indian food and staff behaviour. I believe this entire malaysian thing so don’t expect much on this. Overall i enjoyed my stay but not recommended for indian vegetarians!

I come here 9 years ago on my honeymoon and now i again came back with my 8 year old son and wife. It's a lifetime experience at berjaya. U must visit if you are a sea lover and needs peace and want to enjoy nature. You can spend all time in berjaya as well and there are lot of places to visit as well.

Awesome resort located near the beach and also looks like we are in the forest.

Food is the main thing people expect, i'm not at all satisfied about this, 1) mainly indian food, you can make many verities with indian spices even many people love to have indian food or Biryani. Even I owe a cafe in India you can contact me to make indian cuisine delicious. 2) the charge for water bottle is very high. You can charge us 2 times but not 4 times! Overall environment superb! I would like to visit again. Hope for good food.

The property is excellent with wonderful staff. The staff was very warm and very lovely. The property is huge and very well-maintained. The breakfast also had wide spread of variety with different cuisine.

Berjaya langkawi resort, nestled between the rainforests mountain & the sea, is a perfect destination for a relaxing vacation with family & friends.

Highly disappointed with the overall experience. Great location, great pool, great rooms but the staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. They need better training. Check-in took us about 1.5 hours.
