The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa

This is I Believe one of the best place to stay in Langkawi. We stayed for 3 nights and it was awesome. The best past of the frangipani is its beach front. You can have your own space and time there and there will be no one to disturb. Its like you can spend the whole day till sunset on the beach, even after sunset if you wish. The water sports activity is just the walking distance from the beach. And its superb. But you need to negotiate and get a good deal out of the locals there. We got jet-Ski and Para sailing for two at 250 ringgits which I guess the best deal in November. Note: don't take any tour package from the The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa travel desk you can get cheaper deals outside with negotiation even car rentals.

This is a really nice property located just next to the beach, cottages are small yet nice but the toilets are old and need maintenance if you complain also house keeping can't do much. Make sure to get beach facing cottages as it is worth the money. There are two swimming one is salt water and the other chlorinated. Breakfast spread was average. The property is huge be prepared to walk a little. The resort has ample space for parking your car or bike. The resort is totally family friendly and kids will love many activities organised by the resort. Barring the toilet issue we faced the stay was wonderful.

It's what paradise on earth feels like. Greenest resort with most e co friendly practices and technology. Owner greeted us and personally took care of our request for vegetarian breakfast options. He got us freshly plucked bamboo and cucumbers too. Most hospitable staff, treated us like their own and we didn't feel like leaving at all. Top notch facilities with beach facing cottages, beach beds, 2 swimming pools and a jacuzzi too. My favorite part of the room was open sky shower option apart from bath tub. The place just took our heart away and we'll definitely go again for a longer stay

The resort is very nice and clean. Even the breakfast menu was OK for a vegetarian like me. There are many indian restaurants nearby so food won't be an issue. There are two western union money changers outside so if you are not a malaysian citizen that will be useful. Hotel staff is courteous and well behaved. One of the most important amenities provided by t The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa was a big umbrella available in the room which you need badly in case of rains. Airport and water sports beach is nearby and the private.

This resort is pretty good value for money if you can find a deal. The property is a little old but the beach and gardens are beautiful. Pool is a little small for a 4 * resort. Pool side bar was a lacklustre set-up. Food in the restaurant and breakfast were good. Service can improve. When I checked out they did not provide a trolley as there is only one available in the The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa and it was being used. I had to carry my luggage all the way to reception. Noisy aircon can do with some servicing.

Frangipani is a great Resort having its own private Beach and also multiple swimming pools one of them Salt water. One of The best holidays I have had. Complete relaxation with friendly staff. It is an eco/green Resort, so be prepared for a little discomfort. Early mornings are great when you hear only nature's sound surrounding you. One can hire two wheeler from nearby rental service which give easy mobility Around The Island. A couple of fantastic night clubs are at walking distance for night life lovers.

Just fantastic. I went to 4 places in malaysia and decided to keep langkawi at the last. And because of frangipani our vacation ended in a perfect manner. It has the perfect holiday vibes. The beach is attached to the The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa. Though it's a public beach but no one comes in this beach so it feels that the beach is a private beach. Swimming pool is awesome and so is the food. Staff are very polite and welcoming. I highly recommend this for whoever plans a holiday to langkawi.

I have travelled alone and was looking for a quiet place to relax. I found Frangipani to be one of the best options. It has 400 metre beach frontage where you can relax and indulge in water sports. It's very near to Pantai Cenang Beach. Motor bikes are available near to the resort for RM 25/day where one can go around the island. Jacuzzi, pool, etc are available. The rooms are very neat and the service is commendable. Overall, a pleasant stay and I really enjoyed.

Has got Awesome location,children friendly with five pools, nice restaurant. breakfast was good but with some issues for vegetarians. Though prior informed for early check in and got suggestive confirmation too, it was some thing harsh in not getting early check in while being with child. It made hey wire of planning and resulted in 3 hours of wastage and morning inconveniences. Overall excellent if early check-in issue is excluded.

Hotel location is a excellent and have kind of almost a private beach. Next to the The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa is the water sporting hub which is accessible by a 5 min walk on the beach. They had nice beach beds to relax and have some drinks. Also they had nice choice of snacks. Room are pretty big and excellent. Enjoyed the stay. I would rate the The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa stay 5 Star.

Had a wonderful stay, good sized clean rooms with outside space, tap to wash your feet, easy access to the beach! very green property, plus they have 2 pools so easy to get atleast one of them empty. The rooms are a bit old but that adds to the charm of staying here. Location is good, close to airport, cenang beach etc. The resort had a fish catching activity on thursday which was fun!

Frangipani is worth for money and very good The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa with private beach ,,, we had very good experience there .. The only problem was WiFi facility not available in room ... Indian restaurant sagar is next to frangipani The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa and the famous tomato nasikandar Ismail also very close where we got variety of foods ...

A beautiful world of peace beside seaside

Awesome Resort. They maintain complete greenness by recycling wastes. Very close to cenang beach. Nice breakfast buffet. The chef was very kind enough to serve us veg food. Overall we are satisfied with our stay in frangipani.

Excellent beach front resort. Very peaceful environment. Everyone is very much helpful. Easy to reach from airport. Breakfast is good. Water sports just next to resort boundry.

Location was very good. It has its own private Beach, if you want to avoid crowd at public Beach. The night market and indian restaurants are nearby.

Overall a good place to stay. On the day of arrival, we had an issue as the room is not ready till 03:30 pm. Cleanliness is not great, They can improve on this a lot. However the facilities like Jacuzzi, Chlorine pool and salt pool and private Beach are good.

The resort was a heaven in itself. It was so beautiful, so serene. Loved the vibe and overall atmosphere. Food was delicious and the rooms were of cottage like so that was beautiful

My experience during the stay was the best of my lifetime… beautiful place and the view is stunning from my room…!nice pools !we even had a good breakfast also …but only drawback was a little late service and response…. Everything else is awesome, room ambience is top notch

The location is wonderful as most of The happening places are within walking distance. The Beach is very clean and The view was to die for. The rooms were basic and The The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa staff was very courteous. The Salt water pool has The most wonderful view for sunset.

Poor room lighting which bothered and posed difficulty during night. Very good rooms, good service, co-operative staff, farm house like The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa, peaceful. Still, bit more expensive in accordance to everything.

If you want to enjoy a calm peaceful french rivera type of holiday you need to book frangpeni resort and spa. Exceptional location. Nice beach setting. Beautiful smell of sea and nature and sounds of birds. The restaurant has pristine setting. Guest services are prompt. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommended

The service and stay was good, however our room was opposite the geese pond hence there was the sound of continuous water falling through the day and night. The breakfast can definitely be better especially keeping vegetarians in mind. Really enjoyed the view and the live music.

A bit old to look at, but the staff does a great job keeping it clean. Smiling faces all around. Rooms and bathroom were fresh and clean. Enjoyed our stay !!! The restaurant menu needs a few more options. Bar can be upgraded. On the whole a good choice to stay at in Langkawi.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort is a fantastic place to spend your vacation and rejuvenate before getting back to the hubbub of city life. A big thank you to the staff of Frangipani to aid in making our stay memorable. We hope to visit again.

We simply loved the The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa facilities, surroundings and service. It's on the beach with a lovely view and the staff are very welcoming and always ready to help. Food is also good. Langkawi is a must visit.
