Stay was good enough, only issue i felt was providing just one water bottle for two people in the room. But yes, singapore tap water is drinkable, and we mostly just boiled it using the kettle in the room. The ac was weird and not working according to the temperature setting, but i had seen this in another review and took the room with balcony to keep it open to compensate. Also, no bidet, as seen in other reviews, which was expected. Location is very good for indians, and public transport access.

Cleaning was done daily by the hotel staff and overall service provided by them was also good plus the location is also nice

A very basic hotel, with just bare minimum necessities. Avoid if you’re an indian vegetarian as place is just above lot of meat selling restaurants. Basic service levels - location wise ok as it’s walking distance from little india

Hotel has small rooms no windows, for the price paid ac is worse cant set the desired temparature, food they dont service, there are no amenities, they give one bottle of 500ml water per day per person, ok ok choice

Rooms are very small although we booked room with balcony room was small. Rooms air condition had mold over all it’s just an average hotel with low cleanliness. Pay a lil more get a good hotel and good hospitality

Small rooms with limited amenities. Hence, it's relatively expensive. However, it was neat and clean. Also, the hotel is located near several good south indian restaurants.

Our stay at elegance 81 was pretty average, the room was not hygienic and the check-in experience was terrible. I would recommend a stay here only if you are looking to spend a few hours in the hotel as we did before we had to catch a late night flight.

No room service properly. Food is not available at that moment. Staff is too rude. My suggestion would be, do not stay in this hotel.

I came from india. But spent sometime in singapore many years ago so i know the singapore to an extent of its culture and society. I wish to give between average and good. However for the benefit of travellers i give good rating. But some are good and some not. Good things are ac, bed and washroom are good. Room is small. No smell and all fresh linen inside the room. However i found the kettle is not so clean for tea making and had to go downstairs to nearby food court to take tea. Tiled floor is good for me unlike carpet floor. And bathroom has some wear and tear painted is ok. No cockroaches in the night because not much wooden furnitures inside. It is good for overnight stay and transit for a budget hotel. If you don’t bother about minor things. Bathroom is small. So it is good single person use or for a couple. Food court is there adjacent hence some people may find this awkward but those who knows the local culture it might be ok. I guess it is relatively better place in this range of budget. They provided hair dryer, linen, toothbrush and paste and body wash liquid soap in a dispenser. No shampoo tiny containers.

Excellent hotel and view, convenient for grocery or any purchases from little india, all the necessary items which you need during your stay can be bought very near, the hotel is very clean and tidy and the staff is very friendly. Within this budget this hotel i can give five star rating excellent service.
