Nice and good clean rooms and helping staff. Food and service and presentation was nice. Infinity pool was enjoyable

we found cockroach in the room on bed. very bad experience and really felt ashamed in front of my friend with whom i booked the room. breakfast was also bad with limited options. the best part i showed the photo to the hotel reception and they were least bothered for this…

Property location is on main road but indian restaurants are not nearby nor street shops are available for fruits or other things. Room and breakfast both were good enough. Only problem was they were not filling bathroom accessories on daily basis like body lotion, shampoo and conditioner and after first day they removed extra pillows which was not good.
Stayed for 11 nights. Excellent place to stay. Everything in this hotel is excellent. Will definitely stay here on next visit to colombo

Perfect for a business and personal travel. Food was good and tasty. Ambience was nice. Located near the beach and has a gym and a pool.

Room is good no fans no tioletress bathroom towel and ac not effective
good view of beach
food and room is overly priced and not upto the mark
staff in reception area responsive the other staff needs to get trained

Request for early check though it was available they asked for half the room rent with out breakfast, and room offered was very noisy

Cheap and pathetic staff…

Booked it for my mom n dad
While check out the manager said that there was a cover ( thin cloth like) in which hair dryer was.. but there was no such cover while check in. He even searched the bags and wanted 5000 in local currency for something that was not there at all

Firstly since we came early we received warm hospitality and early check in. Whenever we travel to sri lanka, renuka hotel has always been our go to hotel because of the warm hospitality and comfortable stay. Rooms are spacious, pool is great and has an amazing view. Gym is good. The breakfast spread is great and satisfying to the tastebuds. Overall a budget friendly amazing hotel in colombo!

They did nit even gave extra sugar for tea, pathetic, i begged them, but they refused, said only 2 are allowed in a room for a day

Renuka city hotel is situated at the heart of the colombo city. Exuding old world charm and a serene ambience i would recommend it for stay to any family. The galle sea face and many of the city's must visit locales are not far away. Members of staff are friendly and courteous. Food at their restaurant is acceptable.

Pleasant stay at renuka

Location of hotel is excellent and it has beautiful sea view from roof top. The moment we reached hotel, all the bags were sanitized and hotel staff also followed good hygiene. We booked buffet breakfast but breakfast was delivered to room which was not a very good experience.

Great Hotel, pathetic breakfast

The super deluxe rooms are very nice and overall, the staff is very friendly and hotel is neat and clean. A major disappointment for me was the preparation of Indian food especially the South Indian food was pathetic as the local chefs are unable to make a decent batter of Idli and Dosa resulting in a disaster. Even the 'Sambhar' is horrible. No white coconut chutney. So, vegetarians like me are unable to enjoy the breakfast. If they can hire Indian chefs, then this hotel can give the other 5 star hotel a tough competition.
