Highly recommend Anantara riverside Bangkok to families with kids,couples and even the solo or business traveller looking for tranquility and friendly service in the bustling city of Bangkok. The location is ideal for shopping as it's close to Icon Siam,the largest luxury shopping Mall in Thailand, the hotel offers complimentary boat shuttle service to this mall as well as nearby areas every couple of hours. This is fantastic as one gets to experience and see all the sights along the way.They also organise Dinner cruises while the wellness centre provides special packages including a personalised IV drip for a quick pick me up!The swimming pool is set in the midst of greenery and there is a lot to do in the 11 acre green hotel. Breakfast is huge and all types of cuisine are available. I would definitely come here again for a longer time!

Reosrt is overall good with nice facilities and good fitness centre and swimming pool but crowded, but food quality is not good and there is no indian food at all so for me it is average reaort with good favilities and room and also they charge for toiliteries that is not good for such a renowned property doing such cheap things
As the title suggests it is a retreat in the middle of the city albeit not in a very touristy area. It's safe, extremely clean and the staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Exceptional facilities and a great swimming pool with jacuzzis at the sides. The ferry facility is a great convenience.
It's great a hotel, best services and ambience is very satisfying hospitality is great

The staff of the hotel wasn’t at all helpful with any queries. I didn’t have good experience from the time of checkin to checkout. The place is beautiful but the experience is ruined by the staff at reception and concierge.

We were 4, us husband and wife, and our 2 children (if 25 and 20 can be called that. We were on a short 4 night trip to bangkok from india. We booked seeing the anantara name and reviews, and boy were we happy with the choice. Lavish breakfast including vegetarian and indian. Attentive and friendly staff. What a location on the river and practically a garden. Perfect for a relaxing stay they have their own boat shuttle every hour, so good river journeys too. Will definitely come again. Thanks a lot to the anantara team.

The staff and stay were exceptional and went the extra mile to keep us satisfied. The location of the hotel with the riverfront gave a feeling of a great resort. But it was also just a 25/30 minute drive to all major attractions and malls and city center of Bangkok. In all a great experience.

Assists in fitness center

We took a shower before leaving hotel, but one lady assistant provided wrong information. It made my wife look for me several places. Finally my wife found me in the fitness center. Problem was lady assistant didn't say anything. Just told us it happened frequently. She said I had gone out without checking my locker Key return. And didn't apologised. We were very unhappy. The last impression was very bad.

My first day in Bangkok

This hotel on the first day made me so excited and happy about the trip. The staff was so polite and its Worth every penny.
It was a nice and comfortable stay. However, check-in was not very smooth. Thou, we had arrived a little early than the check-in time of 3 pm. The hotel was not very enthusiastic for accommodating in providing a room. Over all, it was a good stay.

The stay was pleasurable and much exceeded our expectations. We are regulars in Bangkok and always stay at the city hotels in siam/central/Chidlom. This stay opened new possibilities for us in our favorite city (we will always end our otherwise hectic holiday in Bangkok with a minimum of 2-3 days stay here at Anantara). This stay was a luxurious and a rejuvenating experience. We have stayed at the Anantara Phuket earlier but now have discovered this little paradise in Bangkok as well. Negatives- the attending staff at check-in need to be a bit more polite and welcoming.
