Amari Phuket

My wife and I stayed in room 7127 (Grand Oceanside view with Balcony) for three nights, and our experience was decent overall. Positive Aspects Location: The room's location in Building No. 7 was excellent, being close to the breakfast restaurant, spa, swimming pool, and beach access. However, it is a bit distant from the lobby. Room Features: The room was spacious with effective air conditioning, a functioning temperature controller, a large TV, and good tea and coffee facilities. However, finding the kettle plug was a challenge due to its placement. Bathroom Design: The bathroom was efficiently designed but felt compact compared to our previous stay at Pullman Arcadia Naithon Beach. Beach Access: Proximity to the beach allowed for relaxation and walks, although the view was more of backwaters than the ocean. Food Options: The breakfast and à la carte menu offered a variety of Indian dishes, which attracted many Indian guests. The Amari Phuket is also conveniently located 3 km from Patong Beach, with shuttle services available. Areas for Improvement Breakfast Quality: Breakfast was disappointing; Indian dishes like aloo and gobi parathas were subpar, and dosas were not freshly made unless requested. The live egg station was cramped, with inexperienced staff. Dining Environment: The breakfast area lacked natural light, making it feel dingy. There was also a lack of warm hospitality from staff; no one engaged with us during our meals. Spa Discount Issue: Despite having a voucher for a 30% spa discount, we faced resistance from the spa manager regarding its applicability. Complimentary Water Policy: The Amari Phuket only provided one liter of complimentary water per day for two guests, which felt inadequate. Fortunately, housekeeping was generous in providing more upon request. Conclusion Overall, while we had a decent stay with some enjoyable aspects, several areas need attention to enhance guest experience.

Room initially assigned to us had few issues. Like we could see ants around few places. Bathroom door was not closing properly. Shower room door was not closing fully leading to water accumulation in the washbasin area. I filled up the review on arrival and i was upgraded to a better spacious room right away which was ocean front. Ocean front rooms in building 7 is the place if you want to have real ocean view. Location of amari Phuket is few mins from the main bangla street. If you dint mind some walking then this is the place to stay. We hired a bike so it was not an issue at all to roam around phuket. Hotel property was awesome. Breakfast spread was amazing with huge variety of world cuisine. You would stomach. Quality of food was top notch. Huge variety of fresh fruits. Staff was very cordial and respectful. Surely find lot of amazing dishes to fill your stomach pool side was great too. Few steps down and you end up in private beach of Amari Phuket. Jet ski available for renting right there. Overall an amazing place to stay.

I booked amari seeing its proximity from sea. 1. Good view of sea and patong beach as its on a small hill but room with sea facing view has different cost! 2. Indian food is good as they have inhouse indian chef! 3. Breakfast has a lot of options with sea view and live dosa counter and fresh cold press fruit juice as well. 4. Pool is also beside sea but the depth of pool is something to look for. I have not seen any pool bay far which has 8. 5 ft depth, impressive! 5. I book sea facing room, room looked old, with small balcony, usb charger was not given, you will not find miniatures of toiletries as they have installed dispenser for everything. 6 Amari Phuket is big hence before stepping out, you have to call lobby to get a cart which will take you to the lobby, also they have free shuttle service to bangla beach road twice a day (which you have to book at lobby) its not a walking distance from bangla street hence you ha-be to take a taxi which is a 10 mins drive.

One of the best properties I have visited. Got upgraded to a delux sea view room from a superior room which was very kind of them. The room overlooking the greenish blue waters was excellent. Rim Talay the restaurant is one of the best in Phuket. We sat at the tables overlooking the sea and it was just wonderful. Staff was very cooperative. Only con is the rooms are downhill around a 1.5km from the lobby so you need a cubby for to and fro to the reception/lobby which you have to book prior , call and ask them to come which kills some time. They have a shuttle service to patong market area which is very helpful. Had been to Amari bangkok, Amari pattaya and must say Amari phuket hands down is the best property. Had stayed a day in crest after this and I craved for Amari all over 😊Overall a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Travel-led to Phuket as a couple with a 6-year old kid. We had a fantastic stay at amari Phuket for 4 nights. The rooms were spacious, service was prompt & friendly and the views from the Amari Phuket lobby were beautiful. Breakfast spread was good with adequate vegetarian options. The Amari Phuket has a shuttle thrice a day to go to patong beach. We also booked the tour to phi phi islands through the Amari Phuket only. Their tour prices were at par with prices elsewhere. The Amari Phuket has a separate kids play area with babysitting service. Overall, we had a very good experience.

I stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed myself to the fullest. The breathtaking views from the room as soon as you wake up are something else entirely. Also the staff is very courteous and really takes care of you. I tried a 3 hour treatment at the spa but it wasn't that great as the masseuse was going away again and again to get something or wash something. Another thing that's bothersome is that there was a half eaten cake in the fridge, not expected from a 4 star Amari Phuket. Be prepared to wait for the buggy every-time you plan to go somewhere as the rooms are located far away.

The location of the Amari Phuket is awesome. The proper is huge but not well managed. Guess they are short staffed. Room service takes 30 mins. The rooms have run down and need refurbishing. The lift is in a poor condition with no ventilation and so is the long passage dimly lit and no ventilation. Feels suffocated with humidity in the lift and passage. Breakfast is amazing and the restaurant is at amazing place. The spa is extremely expensive almost 5 times the local ones and service is just like the local ones. Good place but needs attention

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of Amari Phuket. Everything about the Amari Phuket was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The stay at amari was lovely. The staff helpful and what caught my eye was the r level, which gives an early traveller space to wait. Thank you for the upgrade on our last day, the sea facing deluxe rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The only thing the Amari Phuket needs to recheck are its plug points they are not very handy and not placed in the right places. Otherwise we loved our stay. Thank you for helping us create lovely memories and will definitely visit again.

We had a great stay at amari. Best thing was abundance of vegetarian options for food. Resort has excellent amenities and is kid friendly. If you wish to avoid all the fuss staying near phukey market as well as be close to it this is best resort. Only bad experience we had was with the tuk tuk driver for bangla road, i would suggest resort to instruct the drivers they permit in the premises to be polite and traveller friendly.

We had an amazing stay at amari Phuket. It provides you the best experience in terms of food, services and views. Though it is located in patong, the busiest and most happening part of Phuket, still it provides that secluded and peaceful environment. You can enjoy both night life and calmness at one place. It's too huge and i love the Rim Talley restaurant and jetty, they were beautiful. In short, it is worth experiencing.

The location of this property was excellent with all of the patong beach area in walking distance. The property was bang touching the sea and each room was sea facing. I must say the breakfast spread was one of the best i have experienced so the stay was great. The service however needs a bit of improvement. But overall was a great experience.

Stay was good. Found less options for indian food. Limited options for indian dishes in buffet. Prompt room service. Shuttle to lobby could be improved in terms of timely availablity

Location is very good, right next to patong but not on it. Private beach is good and so is the view from the room. Food is good with indian options available

The experience in amari phuket has been good. Overall it’s a very huge but a nice resort. It takes great effort to keep it the way it has been. Perfect for vacation.

Although located a bit away from the main patong beach area, the property is vast and has a wonderful vibe to it. Private beach access and couple of pools make it worth the stay. The breakfast spread is lavish with consideration to vegetarian and indian preferences. The hospitality of the staff is a class apart.

Fantastic Amari Phuket. Great service. Good location. It is highly recommended for all travelers going to Phuket.
