Nice pub for drinks and food (only had a sandwich for lunch on arrival which was very good) drinks choices was great.
Walking distance to town centre for more food and entertainment.
Very close to Seven bridge for the Parkrun.

The room was fine but having the light switch for the bathroom near to the room door meant that you could not sneak into the bathroom without waking each other up in the middle of the night - a switch inside the bathroom would have been less intrusive and would have stopped throwing so much light in to the main room! The inferior quality of the toilet paper let the accommodation down somewhat as did the plastic plants in the flower beds leading to the accommodation block!
Really nice place to stay with the added benefit of good food in the pub.

kathleen.partnerSep 06, 2024 Great hotel for our overnight stop. Rooms were basic but very comfortable. Pub and restaurant were very good and Kellie and her staff were excellent. Would definitely come back,great stop off en-route to west Wales.
Staff very helpful and friendly - seemed under staffed but it not affect our stay.
Only thing was bed was uncomfortable

Service in the restaurant was poor, very slow & staff were not very friendly, except for two young ladies that worked there. Housekeeping staff were very helpful. Rooms were spotless. Very minimal with tea, milk sugar in rooms & restaurant.

david.partnerJul 25, 2024 Fairly typical of a pub-chain motel these days. It was antiseptically clean and devoid of character. That is sometimes not a bad thing after a few days in a run-down seaside guest house with lots of 'character'.
Nice powerful shower in the en-suite with wonderfully soft water.
Food was as I would expect and they do a good job here.
Public transport seemed to be non-existent, as were most minicab services. It's a long, steep walk down to the town and a tough walk back the other way!
