Great location. Room was pretty dirty. Floors need to be deep cleaned. Atleast vacuumed.
Our hotel room turned out to.have a kitchen with a regular size refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, and microwave.There were dishes and silverware,too. Great kitchen! The beds were very comfortable !
heather.familyNov 24, 2024 We were upgraded to a two bedroom after a leak in the original room we had. We loved the room for it was quiet, especially having a toddler and baby with us. We enjoyed the view of church street to have our daughter see the horse carriages go by. The location was great because it was a good walking distance we feel. Definitely had a great experience with staff! Thank you for having us Church Street Inn, we will definitely be back! :)

Staff was great and Stacie was always accommodating! Building shows age but clean! Great location and would stay again! If you like to sleep in, you may be awoken by daily garbage p/u

Excellent location and staff. Rooms are huge too, two floors (must be able to do stairs). They had a kitchen and a bathroom and a half which was a nice bonus!
lynette.familyOct 23, 2024 All of the staff people were very helpful and offered great info for places to eat and how to get there, as well as allowing us to hang out in the relaxing courtyard with our six adult children, until it was time for them to leave for their flights out. The ONLY downside for us was the stair climb once in the room. We are older, and were so exhausted from wandering around town on foot for 5 hours… There IS a lobby elevator, but still stairs to climb up to the bed space…. Still, we would highly recommend this inn!

Friendly. Attentive. Easy check in. Parking garage very close. Coffee in am. Restaurants close. Great location.
Property was ok! Location is great! Hotel needs a major facelift. The site is rundown and needs updates. Our room was good, but bathroom needs complete overhaul. The previous guest had almost broken the floating sink off the wall and the sink did not drain because of it. Has great bones just needs some TLC.

The Church Street Inn is centrally located and convenient to everything Charleston has to offer. The room we stayed in was very roomy, nicely appointed, quiet, and clean. Some TLC is needed (eg, the majority of the towel racks were broken/partially falling off the wall, lots of scuffs on walls and baseboards) and I found it odd that there was no soap in the downstairs bathroom and only 1 bar in the upstairs one. A few of the lightbulbs were burnt out but were promptly changed when I notified the front desk. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.
