I'm very glad to stay with my little kid, the staff was nice and talkative, and they even upgraded my room to junior suite, so my little daughter enjoyed a lot on 2nd floor room, thanks.

Chosen for its location, most things were of a good standard although the lack of aircon was uncomfortable and an oversight on my part when booking. They were happy to lend me a small fan, which made things better. Food in the restaurant was of great quality, if a little pricey! Bed was comfortable, couch was good to lie on and internet service was very good. Staff were friendly. Now for the bad - the room did not have sufficient curtains to cloak the windows, which was very puzzling. No hospitality tray for tea/coffee, no mini bar and just 2 small bottles of water (warm due to the room temperature). I enjoyed my morning shower until I stepped out and started paddling in the bathroom. Upon closer examination, there was no ‘lip’ to keep the water in the shower area and I needed to mop up using towels. Not impressed with this! Would I stay again? Doubtful I’m afraid!

Warning about the electric car charging

The hotel was advertised as providing charging capabilities. In reality, there is a public charger in a nearby car park (neither the charger nor the car park belong to the hotel). This charger requires a specific physical access card to use, so you cannot just arrive and use a credit card or app. I conclude that it is misleading to say that the hotel has charging facilities and believe that this should be amended so others don’t rely on a service that they cannot use…

A nice hotel although a bit off the general path. Had dinner at the restaurant and it a bit heavy, cream and butter but it tastedd very well. I will highly recommend reading the small print - I booked a standard room and apparently that comes WITHOUT air condition. I stopped here to sleep on my journey south but I barely slept as the temperature in the room was 26 degrees! There is a window to open but with the tram and street right outside, that was not an option. The second surprise was the breakfast that was described incorrectly online - mentioned as a buffet at a price of 8 Euro, in reality, it was a limited breakfast plate that cost 14.50 instead, due to COVID apparently. Nice hotel but for the above-mentioned reasons, I would recommend looking for other options.

The hotel photos were accurate. I knew the hotel was on the outskirts of the town, so not many options for food other than the hotel. Having already eaten during the day I didn't sample the food. The room was nice but a serious lack of convenient plug sockets and the bathroom to the adjoining room was 1 metre from the side of the bed and the wall was very thin. Early wake up call not appreciated. The worst thing was the strong & I mean very strong cigarette smoke smell. This wasn't from inside the room. The whole building inside smelt of cigarettes smoke. Not nice. It seriously let's the hotel down.

Next time i will go there again.

We had a great stay. The property is almost like new, and our room was spacious. The best part is that it has one of best restaurants in town: our breakfast buffet was incredible and dinner was international class. The folks cared a lot. Free parking, so we took the tram, that had a stop nearby and running every 15 minutes, to city center.

We were very happy with this hotel. The room was spacious and well- equipped. The free breakfast was wonderful. Free wifi, had everything we needed. Easy on/off access if traveling by car (but also in a quiet neighborhood) and right along the tram line if you have no car. Within minutes of central district and bergpark wilhemshoehe.

Ok but not fancy, not climated, good food.

Ok Hotel, but no more Swimming Pool !!! wrong described on Hotel.com ! Bad for summertime as there are no climated rooms. Nice staff and food. Outer part of Kassel. Some bathrooms are in bad shape.

Nice place very quiet even with the Windows open. Good beds and pillows. Good service . We just had a quick stop to sleep on a longer drive from spain. Easy to find and good parking

Uitstekend hotel. Voor ons en met de fietsen erbij een perfecte uitvalsbasis naar de prachtige omgeving. Tram voor de deur naar het centrum. In het bijgebouw zaten we in alle rust.

Bra säng och fräscht badrum men gammal heltäckningsmatta. Kvavt och varmt på översta våningen, AC saknas. Egen parkering. Hundvänligt men 15 € är inte rimligt.
