Good hotel but far away from city

The Royal view Royal View Hotel where we stayed in Hong Kong was overall a nice experience. The staff at the Royal View Hotel was very cordial and friendly. They were very helpful and co-operative. They provided us with Mobile charging adapters free of cost and helped us with our various doubts. They guided us with the city tour and in & around tourist spots. The room was spacious and clean and the scenic view of the mountains, river and the bridges was an added attraction. Facilities as shown were available in the room, like mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, mineral water etc. The only difficulty we faced with the Royal View Hotel was the location. Even though the Royal View Hotel offers scenic views of the mountain and river, it is far away from the city. It takes around 15 minutes to reach the Tsuen Wan city in the Royal View Hotel shuttle bus. The Royal View Hotel offers free shuttle service to Tsuen Wan every 20 or 30 minutes, but there is long queue and waiting for that. There is no near by provision stores, eatery or supermarket. So if breakfast is not included in your package, you need to have all essentials with you. Also, it takes around 30 minutes to reach the airport from the Royal View Hotel and costs around 340 Hong Kong dollars. Overall, the stay at Royal view Royal View Hotel was good and is highly recommended.

It was a wonderful experience with, courteously answering all queries. Cleanliness was top class and all necessary amenities provided, may be a little away from all attraction but once you used their shuttle service, which is return way free, then absolutely journey faster and comfortable once you know how to use metro and 1st issues in my view is high food charges but then at Hong Kong all so costly. So all in one it is 4 star at the end. Free Wi-Fi in the room. Decent internet speed.
Awesome place. Worth the money

Good value for money for the room and service. The family room we stayed in was very big with 2 king size beds and facing the sea. The front desk and concierge folks were very courteous and helpful. Did not have challenge with communication since all spoke English. Their shuttle service to the nearest MTR station is very helpful and prompt. No restaurants near the Royal View Hotel. The shuttle ride to MTR will get you to some restaurants. Overall an excellent experience staying here

It was ours first time in Hong Kong. The location of Royal View Hotel was really good. It is only ten minutes drive to the Tsuen Wan MTR Metro Station. From Tsuen Wan you can go anywhere or any part of Hong Kong City. The room we booked was superior room its a bit small with twin beds but very clean. Tea maker, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, drinking water etc everything is there. The Lido Beach is just a few meters away. Above all, the view was really royal.

It was overall good experience. We opted for family room. Size was moderate. Bathroom was slight smaller. Room service was good. Cleanliness was good. We got room with mountain view which is not bad. Hotel shuttle bus service to nearest MTR station Tsuen wan station was excellent and regular.

Excellent staff, wonderful location, the only thing in my view need improvement of quality of foods and inclusion of more choices of foods particularly Indian food in their buffet. All in all excellent stay. Thank you Mr Oscar and your team members.

Located away from the center. Nothing within walking distance. Beach nearby. 20-minutes frequently shuttle bus to nearest metro is a great help though. Taxi and Uber are reliable. Well maintained. Fair breakfast buffet. Good view. Great value.

Hotel is at 15 min ride from the MTR with a shuttle service almost every half hour. Our room was clean. Housekeeping staff doesn't understand English, however the front desk does. And overall it was a pleasant stay.

Booked a three bedroom suite and one twin bedroom. The view from top floor 3 bedroom is fantastic! It's just by the river and gives a perfect view of the city, river, hills and bridges. The Royal View Hotel staff is good and location is awesome.
