The Hotel was perfectly located on the Grand Canal and everything was good about Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal. Some points for future travellers 1)You can buy the AC TV pass for 24/48 hours from Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal also 2)If you are taking the Water bus, take from Pizzale Roma which is 5 mins walking from Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal. 3)The Hotel can be easily reached by Bus from the Marco Polo Airport in 25 mins and is easily available outside the airport. 4)The Reception also provides good maps and any other information which is requested 5)Burger King is just 2 mins from Hotel.

Superb property right on the Grand Canal with a fantastic view-if you are in one of the Canal facing rooms which we were. Check - in was done smoothly. Room was fairly sized and so was the bathroom. Both were well maintained. Bed and bath linen were spotlessly clean. Housekeeping was efficient and cleaned the room daily. Breakfast was wide spread and excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of pubs and restaurants close by. Overall an excellent Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal and we had a great stay. Highly recommended.

We had a great 2-day stay at the Carlton Hotel in Feb 2015. The best thing about the Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal was location. It is right in front of Santa Lucia Station, 3 minutes by walk. Otherwise walking in Venice with luggage is a nightmare as there are so many bridges to cross. Room was perfect - clean, great interiors, though a bit small but that is because of general space crunch in Venice. Breakfast was great. I got a great deal which made the whole experience worthwhile.

The Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal is very good and I already recommended it my friends as well who have made bookings as well. The Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal staff are very friendly and polite. It was a really good experience staying there. Suggestions- 1. Please provide an umbrella considering the weather changes. 2. Please include few more vegetarian items in the breakfast.

The Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal look very premium inside, too classy to stay. The room are very nice and cossy. Even the Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal restaurant is nice and yummy to have food. Unfortunately the roof bar / restaurant was on renovation so I could go there, else its best to sit and enjoy the canal view from there.

A great find. It’s bang opposite to the Venice central station and is on the Main grand canal which means - great location !! The rooftop setting in the evening is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast is Good and the room also does the job. Nice toileteries as well.

The location of the Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal is very close to train station as well as water transport. It's on water which gives added advantage. Staff is good. O would live to come here again and stay for a longer period

The back rooms do not have a view. However on stepping out of the Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal you face the canal with a wonderful view. The Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal right opposite the termini.

Great location (on Grand Canal, in front of train station, close to bus stop, and to water bus stop), nice food & courteous staff. Front side rooms are smaller but you get a balcony to enjoy great view from room. Room was clean and cozy.

Lovely location. Helpful staff. Clean and well presented. Room was slightly smaller than I expected. Very few power sockets to phone chargers. Free WiFi was great. Great food. Room was very warm. Had to open the windows. Will recommend to others.
