Although size of the rooms is an issue across most hotels, rihga royal rooms are well appointed. It has all the comforts that an international traveller typically looks for. The level of service is flawless. They also have a good breakfast buffet.

Best Hotel in Kyoto

Rhiga Royal Hotel in Kyoto is 15 minutes walk from railway Station but they have free shuttle every 20 minutes. The ambience is extraordinary and rooms are clean, spacious with every amenity you can think of is available. The breakfast menu with live kitchen is to the choice of everyone. Kyoto tower, aquarium, garden, shopping malls, all are maximum 10-15 minutes walking. Overall a very very satisfying stay, walking distance from many attractions

4. It was a good stay. Breakfast buffet was nice. And room size was big compared to standard size in japan.

Nice hotel, shuttle service to the train station was good and regular. Slightly away from the train station. Size of the bathroom was small.

Though the hotel was big and spacious the rooms were unexpectedly small. Breakfast spread kept on repeating and there were scanty vegetarian options. Plus the food was below average taste wise. The restaurant staff doesn’t bother to greet you with a smile and at times rude.
