Hotel Kazakhstan

I stayed in kazakhstan Hotel Kazakhstan for 10 nights in october 2023. Hotel is well located, there are many pubs/cafes at a walking distance. Dostyk mall, koktobe are also quite near by foot. Breakfast has a good spread but not even a slight change in the menu for my 10 days stay. Staff is nice and polite. Check in was prompt and so was the checkout. Only one thing i did not like about the Hotel Kazakhstan, that the rooms are really small, i mean really really small and mind you i booked a junior suit. It has 2 small rooms, really small. One with double bed and 1 with the single bed. Not sure how does that make sense for a single person.

It's 4 star property but missing microwave and fridge. Some times housekeeping put 1 bottle instead of 2 free bottle and demand for other bottle they charge 1300 tenge which is 3 times as market value. Poster service is not available as we expect in india don't like breakfast. Hot milk is not available at table.

Stayed for 5 nights in different suite. Junior and queen suite. Farm-an was our receptionist. Good host. Warm and always eager to help even he was on leave. Good breakfast it has. If you staying in suite then the rooms are bit big else it room size is an issue in the Hotel Kazakhstan.

Perfect value for money, clean property with excellent location & very polite staff. Breakfast was superb with lots of vegetarian options. I love to come again. Rooftop restaurant is very nice and at 2nd floor specially designed sea food restaurant must try, very testy food.

Best location for tourist and good staff. Had a great experience staying here. Many tours and travels people told that it is a very old Hotel Kazakhstan built in russian times and di not offer good services. But i think these reviews are with vested interest

I stayed here in 2019 and now in 2023. The property frontdesk n reception is renovated, very professional staff now, very good breakfast buffet and rooms are also very good now. O location is the best in almaty

It was a nice stay at Hotel Kazakhstan kazakhstan. Room was ok. Hotel has an old building. The key was simple key instead of a smart card. Toilets were clean.

Hotel is a landmark building in the town. Amazing restaurants and always lively. Rooms need renovation but still i will recommend tourists to stay here

Right in the middle of the city with access to all popular places. Rooms are decent and it has 3 good restaurants, mart and spa which is again decent.
