Location: good. Walking distance from grand mosque, expo centre and the best mall mega silk way. 15 min from airport. 25 min from other city attractions and old astana. Food: enough options for vegetarians in breakfast buffet. Food is also delicious. Room - be careful to ask for king size bed if you are a couple. Else they try to give twin to all. Standard room size ok for 2, manageable for three. The extra bed is terrible. Service time and attitude - 7 out of 10. Not the best of the lot. Early check-in / late check-out - chargeable beyond one or two hours. But manageable with complimentary baggage locker room 24x7. Language not much issue, reception understands n speaks basic english. For rest, use google translate. Do take an adaptor for power, should cost about 200-300 inr. Else ask hotel in advance. The european sockets are different. Eitherway, a power bank is must. The 5-6 mobile apps are lifeline in moving around almaty n astana
