Furaveri Maldives

Review for Furaveri: my stay and experience at Furaveri was super amazing, and I am very impressed by the Furaveri Maldives and its management. The Furaveri staff were seamless in arranging the airport transfers with the seaplane. I am impressed with the way they handled all the luggage, and co-ordination of everything, both during arrivals and departures. It didn’t feel like a burden to board the seaplane and get of it. It was extremely well organized by them and the trans-Maldivian airways. The resort itself is super amazing, the rooms were even bigger and better than it seems in the photos. Trust me, the picture is underrated. You will feel like a whole new world once you step into the resort. You need a minimum of 4 to 5 days to explore everything in the resort. They have free kayaks, paddle boats, etc. Snorkeling was also free in our paid package. The best highlight is the maintenance of the resort and rooms. The new rooms, we stayed at sunset ocean water pool villa (room 816, and beach pool villa (room 909, were both amazingly clean and huge, with more than the facilities you can even think of. They were on the clear waterfront, with no obstructions or any view blockages at all. The sunset views were lovely from both the rooms. The other resort facilities were also great, the Mexican restaurant is beautiful, the photography spots at the different parts of the island are amazing. We couldn’t get a spa appointment though. They said it's full, haha. As per our paid package, we had 24-hour drinks and bar food. This was really the experience booster. Glad we took it. Their drinks menu is extensive, although the food menu and food quality are fair. They need improvement in their food and foodservice. The unlimited 24-hour drinks and selection of bar food was still a good option. At the udhares bar, I highly recommend consulting with sid, rohit, and also entry. Especially side and Rohit, they are amazing at serving drinks and fulfilling your orders. Room service at the resort was super slow though, so please order anything 30 minutes to 1 hour in advance. Even the golf cart/buggy car service is very slow in the evening. In the mornings, the service timing is perfect. We took the fishing tour, and the experience was great. They help you, teach you, and are patient people. Please go for it. Since we did this, we canceled the sunset cruise, as they were similar, and we did not waste time on that, rather use the time to explore resort activities, and use our 24-hour drinks package, haha. At the reservation assistance, may jean is very warm and welcoming, and helpful. However, someone called is a bit out of the way. He got frustrated on asking questions, and his email language is also not proper considering the amount of money we are paying, for the 5 star deluxe resort island. You need to bear with your customers, you cannot be rude sir. Please review that. Overall, i suggest this resort as a very good option, also the price is very good compared to the rooms and facilities of the resort. The guests were mixed, with a lot of europeans and australians, which was a delight to see. Overall, stay here is great. It's beautiful and seamless, except the few drawbacks i already mentioned above.

If holidays are about creating memories that you can cherish for a lifetime then you would do well to choose the furaveri island resort & spa in the maldives for your vacation. The property is stunning and has many unique corners with gorgeous views where you can enjoy your privacy and soak in the scenery. The service is outstanding across the board. I'd like to make a special mention of our gentleman servicing our room, shamin, he had great attention to detail and did a superb job and always on his feet to serve you more. He gave small surprises everyday and always put extra efforts to make you smile. On the food and beverage front they have a wide selection and varieties with amazing taste. The staff made an extra effort to ensure we were looked after and seemed to be constantly aware of each of the guests preferences and experiences. The lagoon around the property is really shallow and you can walk up to the swing and hammock that they have put up in the middle of the beautiful turquoise waters. I can't comment on the water sports experiences as we were so caught up in relaxing and enjoying the views that we didn't opt in for any of the activities. However a plethora of facilities are available at the property and paddle boats, kayaks and snorkelling equipment and provided complimentary. Lastly the staff is always wearing masks and the furaveri team takes all the necessary precautions you'd expect in the light of the pandemic. Don't think twice before choosing the furaveri island resort & spa as your holiday destination.

It's a private island resort just like any other in maldives, so the location was perfect, it could have been better if it was not that far from male airport, it requires sea plane transfer which will take a lot of time and waiting. The island looks great and room were perfect, the rooms were appropriately priced, although the price increases around holidays a lot. The service was not that good, but understandable as the rooms are very far from each other, water villas are very private, beach villa is not that private but service is even poor in these rooms. The overall beauty of the resort and very good water sports scuba dive team makes up for everything, there are a lot of fishes, sharks and sea life. Very nice experience.
Covid test is required so there is safety, masks are worn by staff but not tourists

The resort and the rooms are very beautiful. We stayed in beach villa and sunset ocean pool villa. Both were fantastic. View from ocean pool villa was endless. Water in the ocean from the villa was shoulder height so we were able to spend a lot of time in the ocean. Food was good. They had indian cuisine and european cuisine in all the meals at the main restaurant. They have two more restaurants - mexican and asian. We went to the mexican restaurant and food there was great. Room service is a bit slow. Maybe they are slightly understaffed. They will be late to reach to you but your work will be done. Don't get disheartened by slow service and enjoy your vacation.
All the staff wore face masks at all the times and they maintained social distance. Dining tables were sanitised after each sitting.

The location of the property is far from male, but is very serene. The perfect couple friendly vacation destination. Variety of multi cuisine were available. The food was delicious and the presentation was good. To maintain hygiene, all staff members were wearing masks and taking all possible preventive measures. The safety standards were meet at every possible level. The clinic located at property for car ring out rtpcr test is following the who safety standards. Few things like registration for rtpcr test were not taken care properly, confusion was created at reception. Overall experience was very good.

Ultra clean room, staffs follow strict protocols, not at all crowded, you enjoy your stay to the best. Service is too good, with smiles all the way. Room cleanliness, facilities, service is just too good to be true. Location, food, activities all are a plus.

We have a nice vacation at furaveri. We like the place, rooms and the whole ambience of resort which attracts you. You will find indian foods here in buffet in daily basis. Dolphin cruises was also very nice. Overall its good resort with neglected the cons.

We planned for special dinner on our anniversary occasion, but really disappointed with the set and quality of the food. And moreover it is expensive worthless. I don't suggest anyone visiting to special dinner on the beach side

Everything is good bout the resort except the food especially if you are vegetarian the options are very limited. Rest all is very good.

Super experience staying at the ocean sunset water villa, probably best property at the resort only thing is it costs too much for seaplane transfer.
