Property was good, food was good less variety for indians specially vegetarian. Some staff members were extremely over welcoming but some were so blunt that you will be shocked how did this just happened, they were charging five USD/hundred ml of milk for the baby then we had to be rough on them to make it free or charge less, Resort don't even provide the basic washroom kit in your villa they charge heavy amount even for toothpaste, will recommend every one to opt full board otherwise you will end up spending huge amount of money on food as la carte. Carry your basic use items with you, one more thing which was shocking that at the restaurant we were told that only two glasses of water is complementary for the third one you have to pay charges. They very well know how to play with you as you don't have any other option because you are on isolate Island. We felt partial at time as the staff was very much interested in rendering there services to foreigners instead of indians, as I many times we noticed they ignored our calls and were attending the foreigners even without there call, it felt very bad
A perfect budget stay with a few desirables left out

We stayed in a water villa for a honeymoon. The room was clean, view was brilliant and the staff were very friendly. We could see lots of fishes and spotted some reef sharks too. We could go snorkeling just outside the villas. Though the buildings and the interiors were old, they looked clean for the most part. The food was great and had lots of variety. Moreover, there were some free trips organised by the resort for snorkeling on the reef away from the island. The down side includes the lack of first-aid kits. I tore the skin of my fingers using one of the doors, but despite multiple requests, the Medhufushi Island Resort Maldives did not provide bandaids. The life jackets in the rooms are there just for namesake. The dive center has been a disappointment. The staff were friendly, but not very cooperative as they lied to me about a room change request saying that it was under maintenance. But i saw a couple staying in there. Finally, i recommend this place if you're looking for a simple get away and are easily pleased with whatever you get.
