Royal Island Resort & Spa

We had a truly wonderful stay at Royal Island Resort and Spa. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Our host Noble, housekeeper Prasad, and butler Murali went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. A special thanks to Noble for not only arranging all our transfers smoothly but also surprising our kids with a thoughtful little bash—they were thrilled! He even ensured we reached the mainland safely, which we deeply appreciated. The head chef personally checked in with us every evening to make sure we had enough vegetarian options—his attention to detail made our dining experience extra special. The resort itself is serene and stunning. Our beach villa was amazing, with the sea right at our doorstep—waking up to that view was unforgettable. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, made truly memorable by the warmth and care of the staff. We felt so well taken care of and will always cherish this experience.

We had the most amazing experience at Royal Island Resort & Spa. The island is absolutely stunning — crystal-clear waters, beautiful villas, and peaceful surroundings. A special shoutout to our wonderful host Nazia, who made our stay truly memorable with her warmth, attentiveness, and exceptional service. She went above and beyond every day, and we’re so grateful for her kindness. From Scuba diving to spa time, every moment was pure bliss. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a dream Maldives getaway!

From the moment we stepped off the airplane, royal island and resort delivered paradise. Our beach villa was spacious and luxurious, the food at both restaurants was fantastic, and we couldn't get enough of the pool and swim-up bar. The staff went above and beyond. The service is top-notch. Highly recommended for a blissful getaway. We just missed indian veg food here, except one day when the Royal Island Resort & Spa celebrated india night.

Everything is perfect in the island. Buffet food is different everyday and excellent. Transfer were well arranged and no wait at airport for us. All villas have direct access to beach. The whole island is well shaded with trees other than the beach. Snorkeling the house reef is ok as the corals are dead, we can see spots of re growth. Diving is great with good dive masters who know the area well.

I had a pleasant time at this Royal Island Resort & Spa. This was my solo travel and I enjoyed a lot of different people and different culture. The Royal Island Resort & Spa staff ensured my room was immaculate on daily basis and the receptionist was very friendly and also extremely helpful I had a really great time over there. Thanks each and every one for making my holidays memorable.

We loved the resort and will definitely come back soon ! Excellent service by a few people - Rashel at the pool bar, Milinda our table server, Mahindra who cooked us special Indian meals and Shamveel who took fabulous pictures of us. we enjoyed all the 5 days and looking forward to going back next year!

My wife and I went with our 15 month-old son and had the experience of a lifetime at Royal Island. The facilities and service were amazing especially the restaurant staff and spa. The island is beautiful. Even though we stayed there for a week, we did not want to leave.

From the start till the end everything was so perfect. We were taken great care by the staff members of the Royal Island Resort & Spa. The food was superb and the spread was huge. One can surely visit the resort for an amazing experience

Food is not good for indians mainly for vegetarian, so i suggest to go for indian dishes and sweet in their menu

Amazing service, location, staff is courteous and helpful. Not only did they make my honeymoon stay amazing. They helped me plan a surprise birthday for my hubby with candle lit dinner on the beach.

Superb stay. Completely enjoyed my 7 nights at Royal Island. Truly Royal, excellent and well-mannered staff. Helped in all situations. Awesome location. Superb marine life. Never had to take an excursion to look out for better marine life except for a turtle excursion.

Great location, clean and nice rooms and excellent staff. We enjoyed a lot at the pool. They can further improve on the variety of food available at their restaurants.

Location is very nice, very clean and peaceful, nice maintained, very good staff only the indian food is not available. So i recommend to add indian food and sweet disc in their menu to enjoy for indian particularly for vegetarian.
